I think that supervisor can't control himself . He escalated the situation by putting his hands on the protesters . Most of previous comments are made by uniformed people who are unaware that what these students aim at is improvement of an already very bad situation that is also typical for many universities in US: a president's reckless use of power. The difference is that The New School students protest, because there are aware of things, and this will bring a change. And no, they won't go to another school - there's no other like The New School on that continent.

The guy in the suit is assaulting everyone he is pushing while walking through the hallway. This is a peaceful, nonviolent demonstration that is consitutional legal. Any attempt to forcibly move these students can be considered assault...especially if any physical injuries are sustained.

What did they do wrong? They assaulted nonviolent demonstrators who had the legal right to be in the hallway of their school. They are paying students...therefore under the school's regulations...and not mention under Constitutional rights...they can stand there for as long as they'd like (as long as they aren't violent or disruptive, which they weren't).

You are also assuming too many things, how do you know this isn't public school, how do you know these students weren't skipping, how can you assume they were within those regulations you speak of, no they can't stand there if they're supposed to be in class, if they are disrupting class, or in an unauthorized area. I'm a paying new school student. That doesn't allow us to do whatever we please. We didn't buy the property therefore we don't have the right to do what we please on it. And the school is a private school, not a public one. The students were dicks to the gaurds and most new school students are rich ass holes and big babies who if they don't get what they want they throw a big fit.
