  • sega cd is the best sound version

  • Anyone know where I can get a decent x68000 emulator? I love this game and would like to try out this older school version!!!!

  • Thx for this Camparison!

  • This is Motoi Sakuraba's work?! Holy crap!

  • Wow never played this game but it has some awesome music.

  • What's glaringly missing from this comparison is the X68000 music with a midi module attached. It sounds almost identical to the Sega CD version. I think the Sega CD music is pretty much just midi recorded from the X68k version. So, it's not really that good when you think about it...

  • The Sega CD is the best version of this game and it's really not that close.

By FAR the best soundtrack as well, gives Sakuraba's composition well deserved justice.

  • The Sega CD version sounds like its from Golden Sun.

I love this game have it on the Genesis.

  • Can you try and put up the X68k Sol Feace version of the soundtrack?

  • I second that

  • Doesn't the music in the X68000 version of Sol-Feace sound like some late 80's-early 90's Data East arcade games?

  • The X68000 is like having a 16-bits arcade machine at home.

  • If you can find one with a joystick, that is...

And if you can speak Japanese.

Or if you can even find one, period.

  • This was one of the earliest games Motoi Sukuraba composed. He also did the music for the Tales and Star Ocean series as well as both Valkyrie Profile games and most recently, Eternal Sonata for 360.

  • I agree...

  • the most old shmups have the best vgtracks in vghistory!
