Exelent move and very well performe...i don´t see the problem as long as your focus more on your core...lower back and abs contracted...the harmstring will work by it self!!! well done. will have a go at it!
I really liked this move. Using the Bosu for the safety factor is a good idea because its at the right height. Trainer Paul. I will use this with my clients.
Some nice stuff on your channel. As for this GH move, innovative. I do one like it that is BW only and you self-spot by catching on the hands and pushing back up. It is a nice way to regulate the resistance of each rep as you fatigue. As for your version, I would like to see it w/o the BOSU, to get a fuller ROM on the GH's. I understand it is probably there for safety purposes though.
Nice set up, seems to have everything covered from the band to give you a spot to the half swiss ball to protect you if you fall to the training partner to keep your form strict. Good work.
Any chance of a look at your lower back routine/exercises? It's one area I need to work on to recover from injury and maintain flexibility.
I have seen this exercise before and this is a very hard move. I like how you used the bands to help assist the beginner. I will have to try that out. Is someone holding the band or is it attached to something? Thank you for the video!
@saintfletcher with good posture and proper technique it shouldn't unless it's contraindicated for you, of course. The nice thing is that the band assists you here.
Like the use of bands so person can adjust the resistance by grip strength, very cool!

Great exercise. Works Hams, Glutes, and Spine Stabilizers. I will incorporate this into some of my patients workouts. Thx!
MIChiroFreak 1 year ago
@MAFjournal it works the posterior chain, specifically the hams and glutes. Of course, to properly execute, you need a stong core to stabilize.

I like the eccentric ham strengthening. Curious about the resistance band strength...

@caseyassist as with any exercise, it's not for everyone unless it is executed properly.

Does this put undue stress on the spine? I wonder about that looking at the angle and weight that the spine has to carry...
