If you forget to level the Thief to 2 in the middle of round 5 it's not a big deal. Just consider placing the 2 thieves in the bottom corners of the map a wave or two early. Then, when the author of the vid levels his thieves to lvl 4 just go to 3 instead. I found by doing this I was able to catch back up to the author and even surpass him at one point. Although I panicked at the end and leveled the last mage to 7 which I didn't need to do.

Do the 2 speed crystals actually stack? Do they both give speed?

@datoo13 haha yes they do myself. LL CRYSTALS STACK UP TO 4 OF EACH SPECIES(3 SPECIES X 4 CRYSTALS = 12 CRYSTALS !!!!)

if the set up is perfect, one thief is enough, just give him 4 range crystals. also try to have up to 8 crystals on every other unit, 4 power 4 speed, two will have to be energized.

I'd be nice if there was a written guide for this, this video guide works, but it's hard keeping track of all the shyt that is done, and it gets annoying having to rewatch the video again if you make a mistake and have to start all over again.

but you can make written guide by watching this video. it's not difficult, takes around 15-20 min, then you don't need to watch it again and again...

The PS3 version is harder, only slightly though. You can make this guide work, but you have to be more adaptable. If you don't have enough money to upgrade everyone, then upgrade those who seem to be very necessary. Put a thief in while the wave is attack. That sort of thing.

I noticed one small mistake, since you skip the actual waves and only show the levels to have the characters at you don't show that you in fact upgrade the first thief to lvl 2 during wave 5, cause when you stop wave 5 the thief is lvl 1 and suddenly when you stop wave 6 he is lvl 2. if you follow this guide and upgrade the thief to lvl 2 in wave 6 your gil will be out of whack and you will most likely fail.

Awesome guide! I really liked how you slowed down per wave to show everyone's levels. I think others should do so as well in their guides. One thing I noticed is that on the iphone version wave 28 for ANY map, it requires an extra unit placed on the map. I tossed in 2 maxed out tinkers to really slow them down on this one.

Berserkers + Yellow crystal is great area damage, it spreads the damage to the enemies faster
