CGT's have a notoriously heavy clutch, they are one of the hardest cars to drive, I know a bloke with a white one, he has had Superleggera's and all sorts, yet, this is the hardest car he has ever driven.

The sound is perfectly normal for a CGT. My boss had one and he was an ex race car driver, and when going up a hill the car would burn out in 1st because the clutch is so heavy. Its very difficult to drive that thing out of first.

As a detailer in Oregon, I've moved a couple different CGTs in cold weather. Clutch engagement is smooth and precise. The best way to launch a CGT is by slowly releasing the clutch until minimal engagement, then apply gentle throttle. if you rev the shit out of it you're burning the clutch and risk losing the rear wheels. The clutch plate is too small (9in. I think) to rev before engagement without serious risk of wheel spin or damage to the clutch.
