lols ok i see now this is not traditional ninjutsu this is more like a hybrid style of ninjutsu and whats with all the harsh comments i guess in there prospective thy dont want to seem flashy and they rather get it right then end up breaking the rist of someone
ninjutsu has some take-down techniques like that, downt know if it applies to bujinkan though after hatsumi changed his way of teaching. mabe he saw the need to remove them or you didnt get these techniques yet
Well I'd like to say.....your average black testing is two hours? Mine was nearly ten.....>Get a little rougher with the kids. You're treating them too softly. Ninjutsu is not a soft art....or at least Sensei didn't make it soft. I agree wholeheartedly with DancingtotheEternity. Things vastly change when you do these things on concrete or even carpet.
I will do then. I need to start studying again. I haven't been able to since I joined the military. But since Ninjutsu is so closely guarded there are only a handful of instructors here in the US and there are none even close to where I'm stationed at.
thats not so accurate.. there are many ninjutsu schools in the usa......i have 2 under Hatsumi not more than 20 miles from me......their out there....you just have to do some digging and ask questions...
@dickswells each one teach in his way some teach the soft way and athare hard my teacher is dany vaxman he beleve that in jodo or ninjitsu you dont need to be Muscular to use this Methods
This totally suxxxxx ....go see Hatsumi and see if he does his trainings on that soft ground ...come on people ninjas shod do tranings at something harder and not like judo ..Your ukemis totally sux if you do it out you will broke your arms ...My suggestion remove tatami ...
Im just telling you that you doing things on wrong way and its not from my aspect its from aspect of Hatsumi and we all know who is he.He sayed work and train hard so you could fight and live easy !
Tatami are really bad you cant do right ukemi on it.Its my friendly advice to change it you will see that everything is going to change than ;)
well i train without ukemi to to simulate real live to, and because it taughenes you up, but i do tend to avoid sertain throws during sparring out of fear of hurting my opponent, so i can see why they would decide to spar with the tatami. and just because hatsumi says something about training doesnt mean hes always right. appeil to athority isnt enough to prove your point, i mean hatsumi is no god you know...of course hes good but still human
There is a special designation of blue belt in some Bujinkan schools which means junior instructor. Quite commmon in remote areas where access to a black belt is not always possible.
Don't get me wrong, I like the martial aspects of Ninjutsu and enjoy training, but the Japanese culture BS can stay in Japan. Beyond certain expressions of respect, I'm not going to retain it in the Dojo I'll have.
Yeah they actually spared there for a second, cant be Bujinkan, this stuff might actually work because these guys have practiced it against someone resisting.
hey nickwnz, are you an instructor??? we had a debate here about this video the other day ( serval different bujinkan instructors here in japan) and the results were varied.
well to my understanding they downt spar in bujinkan, so they downt realise the same techniques can look different and varying compared to showing the technique in the order it was first taught, becouce you dont always gett the time to do it perfectly while sparring. sometimes you need to change the intended technique on the spot or deside the proper technique in a split second. plus things are done more intuitively in sparring so you dont pay attention to detail, or counciencely think about it.
acutally i missed the bow, so its not a bujinkan school. but they are using some bujinkan technics. as for the slaping when they roll. i have been taught both, but, without slapping is better. its sort of like bujinkan but again hard to say as each instructor can teach as he sees fit.
Looks like Ninjutsu has accidently been used in place of Judo. You can tell this is Judo by the way they slap the mat when they go down to absorb the impact... very dangerous in a real situation. I bet someone will respond with "this is just how we train, we wouldn't do that in reality" which is another sign this is not Ninjutsu since in Ninjutsu training IS reality. Have your teacher learn Ukeme and then they may be able to pass it on to you.
i think that u are wrong, it its ninjutsu, i have 99,9% sure of it, they are making variation of Kihon Happo (8 basic tecnics), anyway, in ninjusu we train ukemi tring to do not make ny sound, but as u can see, the perso how slap the hand its like being trowed into the flor, that make the noise louder, and another thingm in Judo its only withe and blue Kimono, as u can see in the video apears one guy in withe (just god knos why) but any way, its ninjutsu Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu
I can assure you it is NOT Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu! Therefore, I think that you are wrong. If you needed any further convincing look at the bow at the end and see if you see anything missing.
well it is derived from bujinkan the way it once used to be thaught. or at least i think so. read on wiki that it was an israeli that first introdused real non-fake ninjutsu outside of japan, so my guess its these guys. since then the styles must have evolved differently. plus ninjala said he also put some brasilian jiu-jitsu in it in order to keep it up to date so it might also explain some differences to. (ninjala feel free to correct me if im wrong :P)
it looks some basic form of bujinkan to me. its hard to say becuase the video keeps pausing. a bit messy with the techniques. but we all have to start somewhere though. i thought that i saw sohin no kamae water version. and something i did in japan in march. cant remember the name, something like whirlwind.... it from this years kukishinden theme. i was told it was o,sensei s technic. is it possible this is a bujinkan break away school.
good ins oem ways but im a full water element and i dont see how these people are classes as ninjutsu ppl. i would say they are more jujitsu but i liek what i see. as for your post before even if it is what ever martial art it is 20 years of training is an acomplishment congratulations dude
i dont see how tho one person is wearing a white uniform unless its snowing inside why is he wearing that?
ninjutsu intresting not bad but taijutsu is a littlebit stronger and harder it has 5 forms of black belts after all but dont git me rong ninjutsu is strong

Thank you,
We have a lot of new tests videoed, but since an average black belt test is more then two hours long they have to be edited concisely.
We'd rather concentrate our efforts on our project, the Akban-wiki, trying to document martial arts techniques.

Thanks I understand. I look forward to all the new videos.

you can tell from the belts that it isn't bujinkan, there was a guy with a blue belt in the video, there is no blue belt in bujinkan.
AKBAN is an organisation that uses some of bujinkan kata with techniques from Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō-ryū.
