it is not that difficult too understand danish and swedish for norwegians, especially if you spend your holiday in either Sweden og Denmark. (If you are norwegian)

Swedish and Norwegian people understand each-other without any difficulty , danish is a lot difficult to understand so they have to spoke slowly if we are able to understand it., however its a lot more easy to read danish then Swedish if you are from Norway. :)

Pernilla Wahlberg: Yes, I guess it was... I know that on your new album, you have written all of your songs by yourself. You have produced the CD by yourself and above that you also play all of the instruments.

EL: Yes, kind of. I own my own recording-studio, so I spend most of the time down there, which I have done pretty much for the past ten or eleven years. I have spent all of my time writing songs and recording them, sending tapes to recording-labels and that kind of things. So you could say I'm a "music-geek".

EL: Yes!

PW: So the music is your whole life?

EL: Mhm, pretty much.

PW: So you don't have a girlfriend?

EL: No, there's very little time for that kind of...

PW: Maybe it's difficult to find the time?

EL: Yes, you have friends and family... Especially in this period of my life, when I'm going to travel a lot, there will be very little time for it. But you'll try to keep in touch by phone, and that kind of things.

PW: Which musicians are you influenced by?

EL: There's so many of them, but I'm really into the great(/big) songwriters, like Prince, David Bowie, George Michael, Elton John... People that write music that's timeless. Music that's not only great today, but also in twenty years.
