Being a Londoner I find it disgraceful that the bus fares are going up above inflation rate. In the old days I use to be able to afford traveling the tube but not any more as it is way to expensive. Bus fares are also heading that direction and as someone working on a minimum wage I am struggling to afford the cost of travel. It is about time we Londoner get together and demonstrate as often as possible outside the mayor's office that we can't live beyond our means.
Boris has a rare commodity amongst politicians - He delivers on his pledges! First the Boris Bikes now a superb new bus designed just of Londoners. Its exactly what Londoners need and can be proud of. London is the best city in the world, why should we be forced to accept soulless off the peg buses that don't suit our city? You gotta hand it to him, Boris had vision showed Livingston up to be a good for nothing crony that delivered nothing. Good riddance
Be suspicious of the Boris Bus Deal. The manufacuturer is the same as the bendy bus. scrap the bendy busses then replace them with double decker busses at £1.7million each?

Boris is trying to fool you but if you see him trying to drive one of them he is the one that looks like a twat.
Boris dosnt know anything about Busses is my assesment of his BS. 1/ the bendy busses look big to a prat like him, but not to a bus driver. 2/ His new bus is not different to any other double decker. Bendy busses would work ok if they had a conductor to stop fare dodging, but his new 'boris bus' has to have a conductor, no saving there! 3/ It dosnt have the latest hydrogen fuel cell technology, it is a diesel electric hybrid. 4/ It is heavy on two axles (14 ton, more road damage.
