You may not commonly see Jews yelling at Buddhists, but throughout European history they were blamed for almost all of societies' problems. With that being said, no Religion should be judged based on the actions of the few, in fact what Dr. Eboo Patel stands for is Interfaith cooperation and brotherhood for all people. So in fact this Muslim man is stirring up Religious co-existence, not feuds. Peace/Salaam

'That mosque will never be built on ground zero' closing words from a man with a tightly closed mind... I applaud Eboo Patel for defending the AMERICAN right for Cordoba House to be built there. I also agree there is a need for this centre to be there...NOT...because there is a need in this area for a mosque but BECAUSE there is a psychological need for everyone to understand and accept that American Muslims did not cause this atrocity....nor Muslims worldwide....peace for all and peace now!
Isn't there an Islamic Culture Center like 9 miles away from ground zero near Central Park? I find it funny that so many pro mosque people act like it would be the first Muslim thing in New York.
On the flip side, it is a stupid argument to say something about ground zero being a graveyard, or that it is holy in some way. Those against should just stick to the evidence of the backers and intentions and stay away from emotional outbursts. You'd have to show that it has an agenda or game over.
I have made a twitter post about this. Others no doubt will like it like I did.
