I have been a fan of modern marvels series for the past seven years. So far Im enjoying it.

2:14 this is a RFID tag every train and every product has one. how it works is when a rail car,locomotive,or product passes a reader it is electrified and tells what product it is,the car number and where its going. it has all but replaced bar codes. this little chip makes sure a product gets to the right place and keeps terrorist from sabotaging our shipments.

when this episode was made the BNSF building was called the NOC of Network Operations Center. the place goes by the names BNSF Center and also the Jame J. Hill Dispatch Center.

GE EVOS are some bad ass locos. I love a the way a new BNSF loco is painted after it comes out of the paint barn. KILLER!!!! I was wondering when I was gonna get the chance to se this show again and I thought of u tube. Thanks u tube and thanks unionpacificrr2 for uploading and sharing with the rest of us rail fans. ^5

No Problem! I use a PC-DVR Card, and then I record using Vista's built in Media Center.
