  • why on earth do you write like that? you know how to spell right?

  • the fact tht i wryt like tht meanz i dont hve so much tyme to waste on u tube

  • Once upon a time Kenya had electricity, highways, and a working railway system. Then they got independence.

  • if you think colonialist Kenya was better than modern Kenya, then search for keywords: Nairobi skyscrapercity

on google, and then change your mind.

  • If you think Kenya is better now than 40yrs ago, then you obviously weren't there when the roads were still tarred, and there was electricity in abundance. Back when the harbours worked, the streets weren't dusty, and the politicians didn't take bribes on a daily basis. Back before Kenya was just another African country with streets arent safe at night. If you had seen Kenya then, then you would change YOUR mind.

  • Yes, maybe that was true then, but this is now, and we cant dwell on the past now can we?

Kenya was like that 40 years ago because of the colonists, its the way it is today because of the black Africans. The vast majority of kenyans at that time were forced to work verry hard, with little pay. They were essentially, slaves in their own country. Today, Kenya runs its own affairs, and you wont see KFC or Burgerking or McDonalds in Kenya, because we have our own versions.

  • So you agree with me now?! You change tack so quickly - you should be a politician!

PS. Please do some research on Kenyan history before you make silly and sweeping comments like a typical European.

  • I know my history, and i was putting a point across.

We have our own version of most things, because the business is too competitive. SA dominates most places in africa, but not Kenya. Not because of instability, but because they have been booted out by the Kenyan competition that sold their goods and services at half the price.

Kenya today is FAR better than colonial Kenya, and thats just the truth.

  • I agree with you - if you call black-outs, pot-holes, crime and dusty streets better.

  • @mjribes .Typical stupid boer trash all your business ventures in Kenya have FAILED big time, stupid boers are simply no match for us!!

  • @kijijikubwa Don't know about the boer you're talking about. But if their business ventures "FAILED", as you so dramatically put it, it was probably due to the rampant corruption crippling the place. Not to mention the electricity shortages and the crumbling infrastructure. How can any business operate in that dust-bowl of a 3rd world country?! It's a pitty really - it used to be such a nice place before the Brits left.

  • @mjribes.Simply accepting failure in africa is an extremely bitter pill for you boers/anglos to swallow YOU simply failed because you were outwitted and tucked your tails back to zululand. You're but a bitter anglotrash cunt that needs to get over him/her fucking self and move on silly twat!!! I'm sure you're aware of the latest za failure who claimed he could run a railroad but did not have the required funds, tsk, tsk

  • @kijijikubwa Hey, the problems with Kenya aren't keeping me awake at night - you're the one seems to be getting hot under the collar.

I have no clue about which South Africans have had bussinesses fail in Kenya. But at least Saffers have the skill and money to do bussiness in other countries - I've never even heard of a Kenyan bussness venture in SA. Maybe Kenyan bussinessmen are too busy selling dust or whatever else you have still have in Kenya.

  • @mjribes.They may not keep you awake @ night but WTF are you watching this then? which skills and money are these you so speak of as zululand "businesses" only last 9 months here before calling it quits with heavy loses incurred, eat your heart out anglo-cunt

  • @kijijikubwa Hey, business seems to work fine in SA - businesses failing must be a Kenya problem. If you must know, I wathced this because it was a recent clip involving SA. It just happend to talk about how crap Kenya has become. It's not keeping me awake at night cos I'm cumfy over here. You're the unlucky chap who has too live with it. And from all the swearing I can see you don't like that!

  • @mjribes. No twat I wouldn't care less what goes on in Za business failing in Kenya is a REALITY and a FACT for you and yours accept it and move on

  • @kijijikubwa Now you're so worked up that you're not even making sense! I'll just leave you to throw your little tantrum then. Enjoy your dust bowl - the weather is lovely here in Durbs at the moment. And tonight when I get home I'll have electrcity and running water and everything. If you want to see what that's like, you're welcome to visit someday ;)

  • i just dont care where it goes can they get it out right now

  • Comment removed

  • It will move but not soon. Kenya is a critical connection point for Congo, Somalia, ethiopia, sudan.... South africa?

Not happening soon.maybe in 10-20 yrs. when all those countries have settled their wars.

  • The Prof. is right on!

We need to pull our socks up and make Nairobi and Kenya a safer place.

  • i should move untill we put our acts together, failed leadership.

  • These pple will always think Africans as 'less humans'. Its in their mind and they just give excuses to justify their move. Kenyans are hard working and we should not steep too low to beg. If they want to relocate then they are free but they ought to be honest coz Nairobi is definetly safer.

  • So there are no street lights n UN staff will not want to work in Nairobi eh? How many streets lights are there in Haiti? Jamaica? Bolivia? Djibouti? Ha? Kenya is 3rd World country, among the poorest, hungriest and most corrupt How do yu expect streets to light up when families next door are in total darkness? Wangari ni

nini mbaya? When you were an MP how many streets lights dd you've instaled in Nyeri? OK anywhere? Nil!

  • Another bullet to Kibaki era, Knowing what U.N is all about, am sure that they are sad since New Kenya doesn't kiss their Ass.Go to Hell!!

  • UNEP AND UN are a bunch of thieves. they have stayed in kenya while the environment has been totally destroyed. UNEP is environmental hypocracy. let them move to hell

  • ha ha...... ati Nairobi is more insecure than SAfrica??

Just google crime stats for SA and we know Wangari is damn wrong on this one!!

  • When Moi n sons cut forest cover from 12% to 1% why didn't UNEP stop him? L. Naivasha is gone, Rivers dried up, L. Victoria a hyacinth mess..flowers replaced fish, a local staple food in RV? Oily Nairobi River passes less than a mile from UN HQs and next door in Mathare Slums water borne diseases killing babies daily....stop pointing fingers n earn ur UN mega salaries! Yu've had ZERO impact in Kenya now yu want to run away South as the house is burning? Shame On You!

  • you see..right thea I see raila

  • @samantha7300 How? Where s Raila? Please elaborate

  • kwa nyumba yake akiwatch news kama sisi ama? lol

  • wacha waende

  • Damn. This is bad for kenya. I hope they are not running away from Odinga or Kibaki. The UN personnel don't like dishonesty leadership. However, wangari Mathai shouldn't talk like this. She benefitted a lot and now wants to give it away!

  • yes it is bad for Kenya & yes she shouldn't talk like that. but she is the reason why it will not move to SA. for accepting /acknowledging their christism. she did not stop there..she' went on asking for a better kenya and it will b with time I think that is a speech of a smart woman. & trust me wangari loves her country.

  • Wangari Maathai acha Usaliti. You be first to relocate to the sprawling 'secure' Soweto Town SA b4 the UNEP! Gimme a Break! Why should Kenyans be ridiculed and denied a UN body because of their lousy politicians? Kenya is uniquely and strategically placed for UN Horn of Africa Humanitarian Operations. They are not going anywhere!! wacha zako.

  • Kenya does not do enough for its own environment and then there is insecurity in the Nairobi. Our government has to do enough to make Kenya an attractive choice so that we don't lose this important UN post.

  • They didn't relocate UNEP during dictator Moi's inept n corrupt era Why is it convenient now? Fitina! Wangari should be the last one yakking against the Motherland...She wz n still is a politician! It is NO to blackmail...Give us solutions n stop cozying up to donors for cash! Have some pride!
