Another problem with this is that in the US version of the game, you cannot hit first the flying dragon (6-03) in the TAIL with Simon, the Wizard, or any of their special attacks (axe, dagger, etc). I haven’t found the hunchback character, so it’s possible he maybe the one and only exception. As he is doing it in this video. I’m skeptical however and believe that it may only be a function of the Japanese version of the game

why is the music different?

Its the japanese version, iirc, certain technological differences gave the japanese version better graphical and music/sound quality
