@SkaterMonster Its all about equipment and as you see I don't use the proper material (expensive material) to sound like how I want to but for the money its awesome. Line 6 spider 3 (DONT own it any more the shit is off) but the sound module comes from ZOOM G1. The switch if you pay attention you can see where I play at. mostly bridge for the riffs and neck for the solos stuff

squeir affinties are good...the new ones that is. my friend got a new one, i had the old ones that sucked. i was amazed at how much better and realer the tone was to a real fender.

Pretty good job man. I also have a squier sunburst and like it a lot. It doesn´t really matter wich guitar you have, what counts is your guitar playing. And on top of it: it´s a fender anyway. You´re great!

Well my friend I believe its most like what the amp and the setup would be like! I am not quiet sure but i believe you can sound like that don't expect though to be that thick cause squier is with single coil except if you get the other one with the humbucker ( bridge )

Hello my friend your english is quiet well.

The brand ( Squier ) is relative to Fender so it is considered as a good one. Although this model 'Affinity Series' is an economy model it is good enough for what you pay. I tested a higher model than this once and it was very good and more detailed. It is mainly what you pay. I made some upgrades like a pickguard and a pickup and it got a lot better but with this money I could have the higher one.

You can buy a Strat with a humbucker - I have the Squier Affinity Fat Stratocaster which has a humbucker in the bridge and it can sound pretty metal :)

It sure will my friend. I did that with the hum-canceling Dimarzio single coil for more of a classic sound. With the rails the metal will come more easily I guess.

Well it is not recommended but I now have the dimarzio single coil with the hum cancel now at the bridge and can handle distortion well. if you want to have thicker sound at distortion and play some metal power cords mostly go for the one with the humbucker

Well just an advice...stay away from Line6 man. Mine does not work anymore.Not a bad sound but unreliable machines.

Yeah it's a 190 euros guitar not the bullet but the affinity series. A bit higher.

It worths the deal man.

The affinity series is not bad at all...

My keys are not lame but also not the best.

It's a nice guitar and I believe you will like it.Don't leave the stock strings for a long time ok?

I changed the pickup and the bridge pickup with a dimarzio and it fits good!

Yes of course you can.

But you could also use a single coil sized humbucker check out dimarzio's site for instance ... to see this one.

With that way you are not gonna change the pickguard.

They sound pretty mean!

ok i got my guitar for christmas but my comp has been broken. i got the single coil humbucker and it works awesome i have a much brighter tone. also i got all that for free because i know the people at our local music shop they hooked it up for me. idk what everything is but i know they changed the nut and keys and put in 2 of the single humbuckers. ill post a vid asap and let you see

Slightly touch the string, not press it down.

The finger should be just above the fret at the same line...Then play the note as usual.

They sound good for example at the 9th & 12th frets.

I have already bought a black fender pickguard which hopefully fits good but the wire connection under the "hood" sucks (the tone doesn't work!!!) So I am gonna fix this too also a new pickup would be nice (bridge)

P.S Did you know that in cheap models the reason that they get out of tune is actually more like the nut not the keys....

oh i did that on my own did not pay anything :-) It's not that difficult as long as you have some tools.

It might sound bit weird but the pickups gonna be great on that guitar. as far as its not getting out of tune it must be an ok instrument ;-)

If they were the original strings it wouldn't surprise me. Stock strings on guitars are usually very bad. Replace them.
