  • I'm surprised that your doctor didn't at least test you for thyroid problems or other hormonal issues. That is the prime suspect in localized hairloss in women. I am really glad that your hair is growing back! It is often times hard to get hair to grow back, especially in cases where it is the result of trauma... glad your folicles were still intact! Yay!

  • @sacredsiren i had panels run the week before i went on my trip because we are planning to go to africa. All my panels were fine except for my cholesterol and sodium levels because i was dehydrated... i think it was only a 3 week window, so maybe thats why he didnt do that. i think he had his mind made up it was my weave, lol, you know how conscious black doctors are....

  • What you need to do is take a 6 month break from perms. While doing this oil your ends every night with either olive, coconut, or amla oil. I circulate between all three but coconut is my all time fave! And after you oil your hair wrap it. You also need to be deep conditioning once every two weeks and cowash every day. No shampoo! You will be amazed at the difference you find in your hair. Then after 6 months pass get it permed and shake that long hair :)

  • @TheJahlani i can try but i go crazy when my hair isnt permed, i guess im one of those people addicted, especially since i dont have a sew in right now, oh gosh! lol. its been 3 months though so far

  • @ThanksAlotPasha If I email you a pick of my hair b4 n after will you be motivated? I'm telling you my regimen really works! Good luck :)

  • @TheJahlani please send it to me at thanksalotpasha at gmail dot com

  • @thanksalotpasha the only wrong thing is not getting a perm when u need it

  • try some shima oil it is very light she has a channel on hair. Castor oil does not smell bad to me at all its just heavy.

  • @lavvy2585 i used the old school jamaican castor oil and that thang is funky! lol

  • @ThanksAlotPasha LOL what is the name so I dont buy it

  • @ThanksAlotPasha try the shima oil though

  • Sorry i mean to say wash it out.... pure coconut oil thou...MAKE it yourself..

  • @Loverofhair26 imma do that and make some peppermint shampoo

  • You can get coconut oil.. Warm it ..deep cond..was it out.... It Will help alot too. or put the castor oil on..deep con.wash it off... It Will MAKE your Hair softer until your next perm.....

  • @Loverofhair26 im not sure what my beautician is doing but it is actually really soft and its been about 3 months. Im probably gonna get my next perm in 3 months. i should have enough in my patch to work with, lol

  • Oh yeah can u do a videos with your wigs please and thank u !!!

  • @HisLoveelyLady i have so many... but i will do an update soon

  • Tame* sorry about your hair :/

  • How often u perm ya hair? I perm my hair every 4/5 weeks my hair grow out so fast n no flat iron or hotcomb can contain lol

  • @HisLoveelyLady 4 weeks ont he dot! people tell me its bad all the time but i cant handle it but since i got this bald spot i actually been ok with not having a perm. kinda would rather have hair and it be nappy than to be bald. crazy huh, lol

  • i had the same problem in the back of my hair it started to thin out because of the wig caps i change to another type of cap. the cap i use is like a spandex cap and a stocking cap in one its better cause the cap dont rumb up in down on my edges

  • She doesn't havw Alopecia due to the fact A.) The scalp was not smooth, I could clearly see some fuzz and B.) It grew back in! Alopecia doesnt EVER NEVER grow hair back in that area ever! The follicles are dead and the are dead forever! #Cosmetelogy101

Castor Oil is great and also Burdock Root and a weekly cleansing of Vinegar!

  • You are going to be a nurse with a week stomach??? Well work at a doctors office b/c your in for a surprise. I'm a wound nurse and those wounds smell like death. Im used to it. If castor oil makes you throw up then grrrrrr good luck. I will pray 4 you hun.

  • @pudge217 i actually love the look and smell of wounds and anything medical! But castor oil reminds me of when i was young and went to Jamaica my aunt made me drink it and i burped up the smell for hours.... disgusting!

  • @pudge217 and you know what i just thought about... i think that things that are uncommonly foul dont bother me... but castor oil will always smell the way it does and no different. and i know that caring for people is different than a choice of an oil used in my hair. and please pray for me anyway, i can always use that! xoxo

  • @pudge217 LOL SO TRUE

  • Yaaaay good for you

  • THATS GOOD THAT ITS GROWING BACK! I KNEW IT WOULD!

  • @VANITYINSANITY119 yayyyyyy!

  • to me that spot looked like , alopecia areata you should google that term.
