@spookyr Considering that the North Koreans have huge difficulty maintaining their equipment...it's quite possible many of their low-range missiles and artillery guns probably aren't in good shape. That said, they'd also be horribly vulnerable to air strikes and counter-battery fire.

Interesting penetration details. A 30mm APFSDS-T round penetrates about 2cm less than a 40mm APFSDS... Not that good an improvement when you consider things like ammo stowage, ease of reloading, simplicity of design and redundancy...

@prostokepka under what basis? judging from the electronics and fire control of even the modernized BMP-3 (BMP-3 is relatively old after all) the BMP-3 doesn't seems to be anywhere close.

the only advantage it had was it's100mm low velocity gun, so it has a bigger gun for anti infantry purpose (it can't fire high velocity anti armor rounds and had to use ATGM for that) but that's about it.

BMP-4 is first name of BMP-3M. But later it was decided to take 3M instead 4. BMD-4 is much lighter than this one on the video, it can't be compared. But BMP-3 would be the best, if to add more armor, new "avionics" and (probably) active defence (such as "Arena" or "Drozd-2"). Its weapon complex already unbeatable, but whole machine needs good upgrade.

The ability to penetrate Tiger armour is not impressive. The Tiger is outdated and underpowered by today's standards. I'm sure a Warrior IFV could do the same.

It is just an example. but the tiger is still a MBT and the armor is 100mm, so it is pretty impressive. And Warrior's 25mm can't penetrate even 50mm of armor. The 40mm can penetrate 170mm maximum. what is impressive about the 40mm is that it explodes in midair just above the enemy sending out hundreds of tungsten pellets into the enemy troops.

Now that is impressive. But when you compare the Tiger's armour to the armour of modern tanks, you'll find that it has a different composition. Tiger armour is just steel all the way through. A modern MBT's armour is a combination of different layers of materials and compounds.

@Xmk2123 Well first off the Warrior is 30mm not 25mm, and it had not problem penatrating the armour of Soviet tanks in the first gulf war. Second its being upgraded to a 40mm by BAe. And finally, as its already been mentioned Modern armour is very diffrent to that of the tiger tank due to its combination of diffrent materials etc.
