  • hehe, i love how he says "boom" after his first rep to show his awesome power.

    Go old man rivers!

  • Great Vid, this guy knows his stuff.......excellent!

  • the fuck??? fucking pussy exercises

  • @izzy0210 can you jump? lol

  • thanks for the videos

  • I wouldnt consider it an advanced plyometrics exercise. I use to warm up doing these and skipping before doing proper pylo. They do help though and get your blood running.

  • that not plyometric its a body weight exercise

  • i really dont believe at young people because they dont have as much experience compared to old people so it is more likely that what he is telling is going ot workout

  • what a ridiculous statement... so your saying that because your advancing age you would decline advice from an individual who is younger than yourself>? obviously your "experience" has not helped your writing and sentence forming abilities lol... u make very little sense mahms012

  • mahms012 @ OWNED

  • thats a ridiculous thing to say... the new age of certified trainers have the most advanced, clinically prov

  • proven knowledge and skills at our hands... the advancements in diet and supplement on top of state-of-the-art training protocols blow that old crap out of the water,,,, i dont know what "young people" you've recieved bad advice from but dont make lowly comments like that it insulting

  • this is a really good excersice. I have gained about 1inch on my vertical over the last month just by adding this to my workout.

  • great to hear your progress! now that this movement is becoming easier you can make the move more challenging by either holding a dumbell or med-ball, use ankle weights or increase the height of the box... progressively overload your leg muscles and the gains will continue to come!!

  • @dzydave0021 You don't need to use ankle weights or dumbell in plyometrics. The main goal of plyometrics is movement efficiency, reactive firing. Just practicing jump is plyometrics. Given speed/ acceleration is constant or neurologically genetic, you could just train in the weight room for mas. If you maintain or increase acceleration a little, you'll gonna jump higher gaining poundages of muscles

  • hey

i was wondering where you got the box?

  • who cares... build one.

  • hahahah, you dolt

  • this guy is one of the only guys on utube who knows what hes talking about

  • wanker.!

  • Hehe, wait for another 20 years.

  • how can u gauge in any way how strong this mans legs are by this video?? secondly, hes displaying explosive and plyometric training techniques- if u knew anything about excercising u would kno that explosive power is not about big weights,,, stay in school youngster, keep reading before scrutinizing others (if u kno what that word means)

  • aww i just kneed my self

im not trusting expert village anymore

  • nice exercise but i don't think u need to be the Michael Jordan athlete to pull this off

  • Why can't you explode higher than that?! Do you purposely do it or that's how weak you are! Cuz I don't think it matters when your stepping something you still just gonna deliver you momentumal vert!

  • ur probably a fat ass, and thats part of the drill, i play lacrosse and it really helps ur agility. NOTICE how he said its for ATHLETES

  • hes an old man, chill

    just demonstrating

  • your a turd

  • Shithead.

  • Yes. Whey is Enough to get this shit going.

Whey protein 200 grams a day relative to Creatine to absorb in muscle synthesis.

Watch Ronnie Coleman drink 100 capsules from different supplements And take this thing called ah, "Nitrix?" He took 12 of those per day. He also got prescription for his liver.

Yes he took steroids but that's just one time in his life.

But yeah man that's all it takes.

  • Is there any difference between plyometrics & bodyweight exercises?

  • No. bodyweight exercises are a great way to define this exercise. it is very helpful and safe, but it does not fit the description of a plyometric exercise. This is because while plyometric involves eccentric contractions followed by concentric ones, it also is supposed to activate the myotatic reflex. However, reflexes are involuntary. they are in response to a stimulus. but these exercises are under voluntary control. the reflex is overridden. they are simple bodyweight exercises only.

  • finally!! someone who knows what they're talking about.
