  • Amazing ride, I am a resident of Japan and I always go to Tokyo Disney Resort!! My favorite rides are... Tokyo Disneyland: Splash Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Pooh's Hunny Hunt Peter Pan's Flight Pirates of the Caribbean The Haunted Mansion Western River Railroad Jungle Cruise buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters Tokyo DisneySea: Journey to the Center of the Earth Indiana Jones Adventure Tower of Terror StormRider The Magiclamp Theater 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
  • Call me crazy, but I think the Pooh ride at Disney World is a lot better than this. The storyline is clearer, the effects are better, and it overall looks more Pooh-ish, whereas this reminds me of "The Book Of Pooh".

I do like how the ride is completely trackless, though.

  • @michaelsar12

Oh really? The story is narrated throughout the whole ride(In japanese) and the effects are better(Honey Cannon, Tigger Bounce, Trackless Systems, Peppers Ghost etc.) you dumb or something? Go fuck yourself mate for being completely selfish

  • @moger999 I am NOT selfish! How was my comment selfish?! I'm just giving my humble opinion. And I never said that I didn't like this version (It's pretty good) but the storyline is too hard to follow. Where's the floody place? How did Pooh wake up in a honey tree? Is he still dreaming or did he wake up? Explain, ride! EXPLAIN!

  • @moger999 And, those ARE cool effects.

I guess I should say the storyline is hard for me to follow because I don't speak Japanese. I didn't mean to offend you

  • this ride is really beautiful.

  • 東京ディズニーランド行きたい~~~

  • this was one of the best rides I've ever been on at Disneyland. I tried to look for a similar one at Disneyland California, and I thought their "Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" ride would be the same, but it turned to be lame! You don't get to experience the honey pot you're sitting in receive the vibrations from Tigger's bouncing and well...Tigger didn't even bounce! it was just a lame show ride.

  • Not to mention the tilt a whirl heffalumps and woozels part

  • One of disney's best rides of all time. Those motion vehicles are so awesome, the tigger bounce scene is cool, and Instead of just pooh floating out of his body, the whole house disappears and turns into stars. a lot of this technology seems to have been used back in the early nineties when the WDW TOT was built though.

  • This looks weird....but fun!

  • dang this ride is awesome...no track below?

  • No track. The ride vehicles are radio controled and no two rides are ever the same as a result of it. Like the video description says, it blows Disneyland's version to BITS!

  • LPS guided, right? Damn, if disney had the budget to revamp all the dark rides with that tech (well by their financial prosperity, they SHOULD)would make anyone (even me; & im not into dark rides) very very very excited to ride it...

  • The guides are, from what I understand, Infa-Red for Honey Hunt. For Auqatopia, which uses the same ride system of trackless vehicles, they use a localized GPS laser system because that ride is out doors.

  • "I wanna eats da honey!" I'm loving that broken English.

  • This ride is only in Tokyo Disneyland. The ones in America are called "The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" and is totally different to this ride. I've been on both and the one in Tokyo is better by far!

  • Disneyworld is like disneyland with all the rides spread out, and more complicated. Disneyland is the classic!

But i do like both differrent experiences.

  • I remember when this opened in Disney world. There are still some neat things technologically. But jupitertronic is right... There hasn't been anything that groundbreaking and innovative on a dark ride in a while. I mean, Soarin' is definitely cool, but still... We could be doing something like this in all of fantasyland!

  • its not even disney strictly speaking, its a francise ^^

  • I hate Disneyland coz i live in Florida and i think it is better in everyway but i REALLY want this ride instead of ours.

  • Dont hate it just cuz of where you live. Disneyland was the first, and can never reallyl be duplicated. Sure Disney World is bigger, but does bigger mean better?

  • Well yeah, by hate i mean i am more suited towards Disney World. Also, there are some rides at LAND that i want at WORLD like the Indiana Jones ride. I just feel that Disney World has 4 parks, 2 waterparks, Downtown Disney and more. I think that there is always something to do at the World.

  • When I went to DW, there was too much to do for me and my family. But I know what you mean.

  • That is what i like. When you are bored (And you never are) There is always a park to go to or a store to shop at or a hotel to sleep in.

  • That's because you didn't plan right! Skip the water parks, (there are waterparks any and everywhere) and a lot of the shows and parades can be left too. Go to fantasyland at night or during "nap time" (when all the little kids have gone home), forget dumbo or any other carnival ride which you can catch anywhere else, and fast pass! You can really do it all in three days. Oh yeah, and any carnival games can be foregone too.

  • yea, u need a vacation from your vacation!

  • When I went to DW, there was too much to do for me and my family. But I know what you mean.

  • mate why are u on about Disney World ... this person wasnt even on about disney world all he said was .... "i wish they had this ride in disney world" not coz he thinks it is nesseserly the best but coz he wants to ride it ! So y are u arguing !

  • In the beginning of the ride, there's that "moving picture" in a large book page... for CA's version in Critter Country, it could have easily be rethemed as a "moving painting". AH, I'm just so disappointed CA didn't get this :(

  • omfg i waited 2 hrs for the fastpass and its totally worth it! i miss tokyo disneyland but now i go disneyland in CA and that is gr8 too!

    im going there monday!!!!! :DDD

  • You have been on this?! And the Tigger part is simply wonderful!

  • It seems like the Japanese have the same sensibilities that Americans had when Disneyland first opened - do the best work you can and damn the initial costs, cause it'll pay you back tenfold. Everyone in America thinks they're sly by slacking off. In Japan, they still care about hard work, social acceptance and working together as a group more than being independent, and look what we get - a better ride, no matter the cost, because good work will pay off in the long run. Well done, Tokyo.

  • Have you been to Disney Sea? What you said couldn't be further from the truth. Disney Sea is the most magical Disney Theme park ever created.

  • ...Um, that was my point. Japan is doing it better than America. Unless you mean Disney Sea is better than Tokyo Disneyland. Which, I wouldn't know first hand, but from what I've seen and read, I agree. Anyway, I had to shorten my comment a lot from what I initally wrote because it was too long to post, so if I was confusing, I apologize. But in short, I think Tokyo is doing Disney right, and California is doing it wrong.

  • I've been to Disney Sea once and I didn't enjoy most of my time there. It's like for every ride we had to wait for 2 hours! And it was the most disappointing when I had to wait in line for the 20,000 Leagues ride (which was the most boring ride I've been on. Sure the techs were great but the experience wasn't worth waiting for.) We didn't even get to go in Indiana Jones due to the long wait. is it the same as the one in California?

  • @droptheworld That's what he said if you took the proper time to read. In a nutshell he said Tokyo Disney Sea and Tokyo Disneyland are better than parks in America.

  • I wana eat some honey

  • The last room really smells like honey! This ride really is amazing :)

  • Blows every version put together to bits.

  • Brillent! this is way better than Disnyland!
