I have so much respect for Brad Stevens & can't thank him enough for helping put my Alma Mater on the map (back in the late 90s when I was attending Butler almost nobody outside of Central Indiana had heard of us!)

Back in December, before they won 20+ straight, some wondered if Butler would even earn and at-large bid. Their top 3 wins were over Ohio State (minus Evan Turner), Xavier (on a questionable call that ended the game), and Sienna.

With that being said, they absolutely deserved to be in the NC game. Butler got hot at the right time, which is what matters. They flat-out controlled the game vs. Syracuse, K-State, and Michigan State. They made those teams play their type of game, and it paid off.

I am not discreding them. I am just saying from the time the CBS selection show was on none of the basketball pundits gave Butler a chance. All of Butlers losses were to bigger schools. Their win to UCLA was to a not very good UCLA team and Ohio State did not have their best player. Everything I read (including Butler's hometown newspaper) did not give them a chance. So stop calling names and using the f word and get your info right.

Brad Stevens and the Butler Bulldogs did the small schools, the Horizon League, the city of Indianapolis and themselves proud. One of the best final games I have ever witnessed and it was a premier basketball team against a team no one gave a chance. They have alot to be proud of. And I heard Coach Stevens is coming back. Hope the non-graduating players do the same.

Butler captured the hearts of the nation on and off the court. CLASS. Butlers basketball budget 1.7 mil, Duke 13.8. The biggets loser,,,Tom Izzo comes off as a sniveling poor loser who also missed judged how Butler would play Duke. Evidently an extra 30 years doesn't make you a better coach or person. Way to go Butler & Coach Stevens

Brad Stevens is a class act! I wish Butler would have won last night, but boy would it be great if we could get a rematch for the championship game next year in which the Bull Dogs win. Even though I am a Tar Heels fan I would love to see Butler cut down the nets next year!!
