great Bat but I have always been a proponent of using great technique, and if you do the bat should not matter much. I still hit at times 400ft shots with my old Fatboy. The old Orange Crush was my favorite. I had 9 home runs in a two day turny...and 4 were over 400 with the Crush.

No matter what your bat speed, the ball comes off hard.....

I don't mind the clear (blue version) but this one just has the sweetest weight distribution i've ever used.

That's not how to do it. You have to remove the end cap and use a machine to shave down the inner walls it does improve performance but will break your bat. Not to mention it's illegal. If you hit someone with a shaved bat you can face charges.

a shaved bat is a bat with thinner walls. thus, the performance of the bat go up but safety and reliability go down as the bat hits harder and cracks easier. so, for your money a shaved bat is worth it depending on how thin its shaved. but a thinly shaved bat will certainly make you smile wen you hit but it may not last long
