I'm not sure if the "s" model is newer, and I've never played it; the only guitar shop in Portland with martins only has the 000-15 mahogany version.

well regardles the 000-15 is my favorite guitar right now......it doesn't leave my hands to often.....even more since Tommy Emmanuel inked it

if you get the 000 than get it set up for finger style.....go to the person you know is best at playing.....they can give you some advice......I have it worked out perfectly and remember that you guitar will change 3 or 4 times a year depending on humidity and climate change

Have you played the 000-15s? Did you notice much of a sound difference between it and the 000-15? I'm thinking about the s, as it has a wider neck, but I don't know if it'll compare to the sound of the mahogany, 14 fret version like yours.

the wider neck might help for clean playing....classical

play them both and walk away with the one that you feel more comfterble with
