  • Just ran across this and I must say this is great!!

  • Is this going to be a part of the new LP?

  • This is rapidly becoming my favourite Orbital track ever. Sheer brilliance!

  • @KillerSockPuppet Truly a gem!

  • omg too awesome. Can't wait to see them in Cambridge. I never got to see them before the split - I thought I'd never see them, or ever hear a new song. ever :'(

Wander if they'll do something from snivilisation (apart from 'quality seconds'!. Guys... I'll never forgive you for putting that after Kein Trink Wasser, the most beautiful track ever lol j/k ;). Back in the days before remote, I had to remember to jump out of the sofa to turn the stereo down before it seriously screwed my head up! lol

  • Это просто РАЗРЫВ моего мозга!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Потрясающая композиция!!!!!!!!!! Хартнолы - лучшие.

  • brilliance ...M25

  • Can't wait to see them in London. Such great timing for my mom and dad to want to go visit family up there.

  • Oh my this is just amazing! Have just opened two windows playing this clip seperately and a couple of beats apart, and it still works - very clever track!

  • The world seemed different when Orbital went quiet. Now it looks great again!

From 91 to 2001 I went to every event they did in London & all the big Tribal Gatherings. Now living in the recession means I have to work the nights that theyre playing at Alberts place! At least I did see them there back in 96. FFFFFFantastic to simply stumble across this and find that they are back to creating stunning work. This will be my soundtrack to 2012. Dance everybody!!!!!!!!! : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : )

  • God, I missed you Orbital!

  • glasgow 7/4/12 looking forward to the motorway brothers, again.

  • Aw, how it great it is to have you back making masterpieces Orbital! You always seem to change your style with the times, yet sound uniquely you! Can't wait for the Album! Peace:)

  • @JoeStephens78 Well said, mate. Orbital is always different and yet you can never confuse it with something else. Orbital is a style by itself.

  • me sentí en midnight club

  • You are the best in my eyes the gigs' you have lined up will just be amazing c u at the Royal Albert Hall caint wait.

  • What a fantastic return this is! :D

  • the tour should be great - but please drop the Bon Jovi/Belinda Carlisle section, cos it's shit and ruins a great show. (Kraftwerk wouldn't do it and neither should you)

No more Doctor Who theme either - it's crap lads, your own tunes are way better.

  • @91betterthanyou

dude, the Halcyon/Bon Jovi/Belinda Carlisle thing is their Encore.... they've been doing that since like 1992... where have you been? Saw them at Club Rio in 1999, they played every track I wanted to hear, and then some... then they left... came back... opened their encore with that... and played for like another 45 minutes... was AWEsome

  • The best live act I've seen in the 90s and the 00s. Roll on the new album & tour!

  • Their characteristic sound for chill songs, and I love it

  • that's great

  • That's it, I'm going to London! Always regretted never seeing them live before they split up.

The brothers are back! Love from Norway :)

  • Please, please, please come to Serbia on Exit Festival in July!

    All the best from Montenegro!

    Great tune as always :)

  • to me the first minute and a ahalf of the track is great then from then on its just amazing more i isten to this more i love it

  • MUSICA E IMAGENS SENSACIONAL.

  • This is so beautiful...

  • Just think how amazing this video would have been if Michel Gondry directed it.

  • Was fortunate enough to see Orbital last February and they were without a doubt the best live act I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. It included some very special moments with some of my most favourite music of the past 20 years. Amazing artists that have stood the test of time and I cannot wait for the next instalment.

  • i wish i liked this track also like so many of you guys....i like orbital very much....can't help it, but i does't do anything for me. they have great tracks but also a lot of mediocre tracks. and i think this is one of them. I feel they took the easy way out on this track. But what i do like and its simular to this is the new PLAID album. and a simular athmosphere is the track UNBANK. check it out and agree or disagree with me.

  • @cupidoke I rate this track, but you're right about Plaid. Loved their latest album and Unbank was stuck in my head for ages.

  • Beautiful!! :)

  • What's best about the "listening while reading" experience is realising how, in spite of geography, we all share this deep and devoted love for Orbital's Music. As the world becomes smaller and smaller i look forward to give u all a big hug when we finally meet.

  • @ElectroBandas

that's well said. couldn't of said it better.

  • альбом тафайте!!!

  • Isnt it amazing that they still have it???? they will never fade, NEVER, ha!! They really know how to do it, god I love them. I will see them one day as well. I would do anything to get to c them live. I bet it is the most amazing experience ever. They are another duo that can reach a special place every time they make musik and it never gets old. They keep it fresh and relevent every time.

  • THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT TRACK ! THANK YOU ! ! !

  • Roll on Manchester in April

  • cool track reminds me of kraftwerk

  • Good positive vibrations...Love Orbital

  • One of my favorite concert experiences was seeing Orbital at the Metro in Chicago in 2003. That was during their farewell tour. It was my first, and what I thought was going to be the last, opportunity to see them perform ever.

An amazing show. There was no opening act, just Orbital. I was dead center at the front for the entirety of the 3-4 hour set, and it was just phenomenal. I remember watching an RC robot wandering around underneath the keyboards while the brothers. Cannot wait for more.

  • @diaphanein I KNEW they'd be back. But it did seem to take a while...........

  • @diaphanein i will ebdate u saying it was 03; im pretty sure it was 01

  • @tekfreak5 You're correct. Been so long, I got a little fuzzy on the date. All I remember I was still in college at the time.

  • Waiting waiting waiting for their new album :)

  • Can't wait to see them Live @ The Melkweg Amsterdam!!!

  • orbital elegancia absoluta...impecable

  • Not lost it boys.. Mesmerising vid too. Perfect British creativity. I'll take this over some costly, fatuous hip hop dross every day of the week.

  • Orbital and Tangerine Dream were the sound of my 20s and 30s. Now they contribute to the teens (10-19) like they did to the nineties. Orbital seemed to remain strong in the zeros, but this shows that the magic of the nineties for Orbital is in a resurgence for this decade. This piece's style seems one part "Middle of Nowhere" (1999), one part "Orbital Album" (1991), a touch of New Order sensibility, and with some of the "breadth" of synths from "The Altogether" (2001). Eager for new releases.

  • 3.12!

  • Wonderful!!!!!!

  • see you in Leeds Bright Eyez ;)

  • amazing!awesome!talant!

  • Before I die, I am going to see the two of you perform live. :)

  • @djslurch I can die happily now after seeing them at Coachella in 2010.

  • @djslurch

You only have to wait two more months!

  • @djslurch come and join me to se em in leeds in the 6th april :)

  • @djslurch I've been fortunate enough to see them twice, it's worth every amount of effort.

  • @djslurch 25 May, Rock Coast Festival, Tenerife, Spain, Just Saying xD

  • It's been toooo long. Orbital provided the soundtrack to my youth - can't wait to see them in April at the Albert Hall - it's going to be emotional!

  • Proof that you don't need a small country's budget nor a bunch of scantily clad bimbos to make something visually beautiful. Kudos to the Hartnolls and the director. To the favorites.

  • Never reaching a destination. Always moving and wanting "needing" more. Nice video with excellent syncing. It made me dizzy when things because surreal :)

  • Awesome, as always. Can't wait to see them live. Again.

  • GRANDI OBITAL!!

  • Everything in the world is ok.....

  • never n n never n n never ...

  • Welcome back guys, and what a return to form too!!

  • Beautiful video ¡¡¡¡

  • My earz are happy to hear Orbital again. See you on tour in 2012 :)

  • Superb mixing! But the track is so average (((

  • Anyone whos going to see them @ The Royal Albert hall on 10th April 2012 like this!

  • Cant wait for Orbital to Hit mCR Academy..Hope U have Re-Mastered Kablooie for Your Ledge Tunes..Remix SATAN/Box/DR WHO! LOL ;-P..Roll On April :-D

  • Makes me miss London a bit

  • I so clearly remember being in my mid teens in the 90s, not really knowing what electronic music was, and having someone play "the girl with the sun in her head" for me for the first time. That moment is probably going to remain crystallized in my mind as if it happened this morning, for the remainder of my life. This is the first track that's been able to bring me back to that place of intensely analytical, yet purely synthetic aural bliss, in years.

  • very good boyos

  • What an incredible video. So simple and yet so moving. I thought the tunnel bit during the breakdown was lovely and the red light bit was fantastic. Hands down one of Orbital's best songs ever!

  • So good to hear new material from you gentlemen.

  • "the Altogether" forever!

    2. "Insides" "brown Album" "Snivilisation"

  • Orbital ist Kunst in höchster Form !

  • OMG Orbital is back ! Awesome news ! :DDD

Nice song, hope the album will be really good too !

  • if this is what we get free i cant wait to pay for the album

  • Lovely tune.

  • reminds me of Plastic Beach by the Gorillaz. the production and synth style.

  • I was location spotting throughout the video...well a lot of it is my manor, I guess ;-) Funny route though...

  • Ownly BELFAST N.IRELAND people will really know what ORBITAL is all about!

  • ORBITAL are well and truly BACK <3

It`s like they Never went away,

I so love this tune, it`s a modern day classic

  • Fantastic tune - melodic and bangin' in all the right places! Quite like the pun in the video of using the M25 Orbital Motorway - that's the only time there's no bugger on it mind!!

  • orbital have been such an influence in my life,i nearly cried when i heard they were reuniting and i love this track.

  • Classic Orbital. 'Nuff said.

  • O M G !!!!!!!

I'm feeling so many awesome emotions right now, so glad Orbital released a great new song, fuck, my favourite musicians from the 90s, so many great memories of my teenage life, thank you thank you thank you!

  • @pauseTV Agreed on all counts! My teenage years were defined by Orbital -- Belfast, Chime, Halcyon+on+on. So much joy listening to a track that only the Hartnolls could create. Beautiful!

  • Weltklasse!

  • say never bitch !

  • This is London, right? Never been there before. thanx for this. And I also waiting for this abum more then any chemical shit

  • Welcome back, lads.

  • I love London. I love Orbital. I love this video.

  • Loving this! :)

  • gran tema, keremos más!!!!!

  • Choonage!x

  • They still got it!

  • Bloody middle lane drivers

  • I always felt magic and something amazing around them... from the age of 8. Now I'm 22 but I always remember the feeling of their music in childhood... ;)

  • @aceofluxore I feel the same... I know that they aren't the best musicians of the history of the world but huh, there is something special... Maybe because we were little kids when we heard for the first time... idn :P

  • Oh hell yes. Seems the brothers Hartnoll remembered how to make good tunes again. My Royal Albert Hall tickets are duly booked.

  • adore!adore!amazing <3

  • like the first time i ever got high

  • Always hoped this would happen.. Didn't expect it. I AM ENTHRALLED WITH MUSIK AIR AN LIFE AGAIN, THANK YOU PHIL AN PAUL.. RESPECT TO THE END

  • Michel Gondry would have done this video much better.

  • Good to see you back! I'm waiting for you in Poland, still remember Cracow in 2009 :)

  • My idols are back!

  • Welcome back, guys!

Hope to see you in Macedonia in 2012. ;)

  • Thank you for the sneak preview of your new material, and a huge greet from Scarborough! :-D

  • It'll be nice to see them on tour again but that track is just Orbital by numbers and quite forgettable; the video is even more uninspired, but then Orbital videos have never been that great.

  • @seyghal Orbital by numbers? I'd like to hear the other tracks that use the same numbers..

  • @tonyttt31 :-D I'm sure you would 'like to hear the other tracks that use the same numbers', you'd then defend them to the hilt as well!

You do realise that it's ok for some people to not like certain tracks yet still be a fan? Clearly not a fawning super-fan like.. 'some', but a fan none the less.

Just got my tickets for the Royal Albert Hall.. and hope they don't play this! ;-)

  • @seyghal are you referring to me as a fawning superfan? I wasn't dismissing anyone as not being a fan because they dont like it.

  • Orbital, I will always love you.

If you tour near me, I will go. Make this happen

    <3

  • In the words of Renton off of Trainspotting...

"It's good. Oh, it's really fucking good."

  • Best music news in ages!! And really cool simple but clever video :)

  • really disappointing

  • Comment removed

  • i think it gets better the more play it and the video is a bit like the hidden track on the alltogether dvd

  • It's nice of them to give the track away for free, but I am going to wait to buy the album :D

  • Close your eyes, sit back, and enjoy! Orbital are back, can't wait for the album

  • <3!

  • nice track, sounds a bit like BCTT by the Japanese Popstars.

  • Welcome back lads.

Missed you at Glasto' because it thought Saturday night was Friday night. Got a little carried away, clearly.

  • Back in the day there wasn't that much competition in this style of music, now this track bores me. Orbital is past their sell by date. In comparison to new bands like Nero and Deadmau5 orbital is left in the dirt, this track has a real cheesy feel about it.

Thats not to say that I don't still listen to their early stuff like belfast, chime and halcyon etc. I DO, I still love the early stuff because of the memories they provoke and their authenticity.

    Sorry folks.

  • @Obinome stopped at deadmau5

  • @Obinome You have no Soul. If you think Deadmau5 is more musical than this, you also have no taste. Congratulations.

  • @Obinome Nero!? Deadmau5!!? Bloody hell. You've removed any credibility in your opinion right there.

  • @Obinome You rate Deadmau5? I really tried with him. Strobe is quite something but everything else was so charmless and dull.

  • @Obinome - One thing you have to realise about Orbital is that they NEVER paid any attention to musical trends and made the music they wanted to make, and not just what they thought the kids would buy. No competition you say? Then you've entirely missed the point, as it was never intended to be one. Listen to it for what it is, but don't compare it to the music of others - that's just foolish.

Oh and, welcome back lads. I cannot understate the influence your music has had on my life so far!

  • Disappointing.

  • Welcome back lads!

  • Thumbs up if your soul just gave a thumbs up!

  • WELCOME BACK!

  • 1 person is still pissed off about the Bon Jovi bit in their live show. :')

  • I liked well enough on first listen but it only really grabed me when I hit the loud button. The brief spin on the M25 at the beginning was a nice touch.

  • Sounds like the blue album to me. I want to like it i really do! Like most orbital stuff i'm sure it wil be a 'grower' . After being a fan for 15 years i will appreciate and welcome any new Orbital stuff and don't want to be critical at all. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album
