  • aha honney, the voice of Brenda Lee from the start of the song "Sweet Nothings" LOL

  • whats the "dance" called from 1:25 to 1:40? step dance or something like that..

  • @hotfuzz821 i think its jump step?

  • @hotfuzz821 its called "jumpen" its a dutch/belgian invention, it was quiet popular for a while actually xD

  • It's made by Belgians but I only hear Turkisch or Bulgarian O_o

  • amazing song...and i also liked the video :))...10

  • Pity the quality was so fu'ed...

  • Zaaaaalig

  • Verry tupid name for this song, the piano is Lucio Dalla and the vioce is in arabic so what's this have to do withe the Balkans ? as far as i know France , Belgium, UK, Italy are full of arabs not the Balkans .

  • @adrianpop1 sahib is arabic..

  • @onzeJelle dus wat heeft Sahib Habibi met Balkan te maken ???

  • @adrianpop1

At 1:17 and 2:27 a trumpet sample is used ... that is typical balkan (Serbian or perhaps Bulgarian or Macedonian) ... From 4:07 also an audio sample is used that (to me) seems a cut from a traditional Choir, but FX'd ... At 4:19 there are typical "exclamations" you can hear when for example Bulgarians dance the "Horo" ... short wistle's and "Opa!" ... Visually at that same time you see folk dancers ... typically dressed as was custom in the Balkans (for example Bulgaria) ...

  • @DaFDu still is a stupid name for a song that has nothing to do with the Balkans, if you listen to the song as a wholle it sounds like the music of turkish invadors in the Balkans.

  • @DaFDu That trumpet could be Romanian too, sounds like our Fanfara Ciocarlia :)

But then again, it could be anywhere in Bulgaria, Romania or the former Yugoslavia, all music here intertwines and it all sounds great.

  • @DaFDu do i hear arabic text?

  • @z2ara yeah that woman is singing in Arabic....

  • truly refreshing and funny :)

  • @bavsha Try "Cheb Mami"...

  • i cannot find another artists that sounds like this. anyone have any recommendations? Youtube and pandora's recommendations don't sound rythmic enough for me. I love the brazilian influence, sound.

  • sahib baba

  • great song... funny video
