you're gettin that shinko waaay too hott, i used to get mine that hot and would spin all the way down the street, all you gotta do is give it about 5-6k rpm's and pop the clutch for like 1 full second to just barely get it warm, now i can leave almost redlining my 1k on almost any street

My best on my 04 R6 is 11.3@124 but our strip is close to 3000 ft elevation. Never could get a great 0-60' time (2.1-2.3,horrible) One night I raced another 04 r6 that was lowered, stretched, sprayed and he smoked me with a 10.0 at 136 . Without using the nos! I was proud, this guy was about 240lbs and he was beating busa's and gixxer 1k's that night on his R6

i find it very hard to believe those runs were that fast...there were some of those launchs that were deff not the times posted i had a k7 gsxr 600 ran 10.6s and i was launching the shit out of it no bog what so ever off the launch like he had and was giving it everything it had running 10.6...and mine had exhaust and tune tre and stock height stock clutchs i dont believe that bike was running 10.6 stock

How long did it take to get the roaring toyz extended swing arm attached? What made you choose to go 3 inches? Why the 5 tooth increase and not a 2 or 3? Does the quickshift on the bazzaz z-fi qs really make that much of a difference? What year is the zx6r?? I've not owned one before.. currently have an '08 CBR 600RR. I'm all about the "underdog" taking the win. Would it be a better platform to get a same or different year model 6R?? Really only dragged my cage, but really wanting to get into it with bikes. Was contemplating getting a liter bike set up for the strip or a busa. Lots of liter bikes are taking the busas in the 1/4 with the right setup. Any information would be MUCH appreciated! I have this edition on my nightstand(July). Really enjoyed it. I flirt w/a little drag racing on my 05 zx6r. The article mentioned Gene having trouble getting a good launch. Watching the video it just seemed like the bike kept falling on it's face, even when he revved it to the ceiling. Was that a product of the shorter gearing (+5)?

We used a KG Clutch Factory Kevlar clutch kit. It's a great clutch and affordable, too. The fact it survived over 60 passes that day, many of which were back-to-back runs, is reason enough!
