In other words, most people brought bad wine out after everybody was drunk, and wouldn't notice the difference, but the groom brought out the wine Jesus had created at the end of the party -which was really good wine.

It seems to me the message of this song is do whatever you want and Jesus would be ok with it because He drank wine? I mean God does love everyone, but He does not think it's ok to sin just because He "understands our heart". Jesus drank wine because that's what they drank in that culture... because water could not be trusted to be clean. Paul clearly says not to be drunk because it leads to debauchery. That drunken spirit is what we deal with in our culture.

I mean God does love everyone, but He does not think it's ok to sin just because He "understands our heart". Jesus drank wine because that's what they drank in that culture... because water could not be trusted to be clean. Paul clearly says not to be drunk because it leads to debauchery. That drunken spirit is what we deal with in our culture.
