Video camera's are a scam. You have a right to face your accuser and ask them questions as to what they witnessed. Can a camera testify against you and write up an affidavit of complaint? The developer was not there so did not witness a thing so cannot testify. Now what?

All Traffic photo/camera's are owned by private companies contracted by cities to do all the upkeep on the equipment. All cities must lease, they are not allowed to purchase the equipment. cities pay these companies by the traffic fines that are produced by the equipment and there is a minimum quota that must be met by contract. THESE things are what is called in court "A Conflict of Interest" and it is illegal for cities to do by law. if you say so what, we'll lose more & more of our rights.

This video he says he's about letter of the law but sits there and harasses a government employee in the checkpoint video. Funny thing though, I saw no scamming by the van at all. All Traffic photo/camera's are owned by private companies contracted by cities to do all the upkeep on the equipment. All cities must lease, they are not allowed to purchase the equipment. cities pay these companies by the traffic fines that are produced by the equipment and there is a minimum quota that must be met by contract. THESE things are what is called in court "A Conflict of Interest" and it is illegal for cities to do by law. if you say so what, we'll lose more & more of our rights.

The company is citing drivers that police officers would not have caught anyway, so of course the city gets the smaller cut. You're in public, so anyone can "legally" take your picture. It's called photo evidence, pictures of law breaking.
