I was looking through it yesterday, read the chapter about his arrest for cocaine smuggling but found nothing about steroids. It's amazing how overrated Probert is. I can name at least 5-10 fighters as good or better than he was. He throws a lot of punches, but doesn't land that many. Lots of arms and wild punches.

Players get accidently touched and roll around the groud like they've just been hit by a truck only to walk off the field 1 minute later. The europeans haven't figured out yet that this is why the sport will never ever be popular in north american. Every european that moves to north america immediately stops watching "football" and enjoys the real sports like hockey.

Great post, just finished "Tough Guy", Proberts Bio. Amazing book, couldn't put it down. Bob was the ultimate hockey player. He was able to play any style of game, straight up or down and dirty...R.I.P. Bob, you'll be missed forever, thanks for the memories. My Condolences go out to his wife and family!!

@iamillegal1 He was boating on July 5th, this year. He was fixing the rubber bumper trimming on the boat was flapping around and he didn't want it to get caught in the jets, so he was bent over tacking it back onto the boat. He wasn't feeling well that day and when he stood up and was dizzy, he fell back and he was with a police officer, who did CPR until paramedics got there, he was then took to a hospital in Windsor and pronounced dead. They said he had "Severe chest pain"
