I see pros and cons to both screens. On the AMID screen, the light level is much better, but the texture is uneven and looks a bit cheap (but, of course). On the DILAD screen, it looks a lot smoother, but it seems to blur badly.

i would guess the solid one has more glare. the other one has millions of little holes and less reflective surface area. the video's purpose is to compare the projection on both types of screen so both types of screen are shown next to each other to facilitate comparison.

@StarKissAoi there was a time when computer projectors for business presentations cost thousands of dollars but now they have them you can get very cheaply and they have ones that can connect to your cell phone. cell phone projectors are around 200 $. LG has a cell phone with one built into it. looks like lap top/desktop projectors start around 200 $ too. search engine key words are cell phone projector or lap top projector.
