Here's what I know and this was told to me by a radio listener of mine when I played this one day on my program not too long ago. He said this was released as a single on the "RUST label which is affiliated with Laurie records back in 1968.Another one of those sad uptempo type tunes along the lines of Dion's "Lonely World". I have a copy on a vinyl 4 record box set that Laurie put out called "FOR THE COLLECTOR" released in 1981. Definitely worth getting for good rare stuff.
This was on the radio in 1969. It didn't get very far up the charts, I think. I always liked the lyrics, and with the bubblegum fad at the time, you'd think it could have been more popular. Thanks for sharing!
