how can i tell if my is standard or extreme?... and it come with plug and play soo i cant tune unless i have management system..but is it ok if i push 390 rwhp on stock 03 motor with 38k miles and be safe?
the vq engine i have pushed it to 11psi stock everything, as long as your engine is not pinging and your fuel delivery is good. but more than 8psi on 10.5:1 compression is high already.
just under 400rwhp on stock VQ seems to be the common limit.

polish and balance your crank, revup oil pump. oil cooler is a must

how many psi u running?..and u know how much rwhp a stock 03 motor can hold that is safe?

is this the stock motor ?..i got aps twin and i dyno at 5 psi at 353rwhp ,,, u think it safe if i crank to 7?

which aps kit, startard or extreme, if standard, you can go up to 8 PSI. the tune is the most important thing.
this was on stock motor, and I have a ready build short block on the side, and i ran my stock motor 11PSI race gas and my old block is perfect

yes, your good to go on the motor. I think you have the standard one.
