Quality over quantity guys : in the early albums, they didn't have shitload of gear to make good shows or recording. I'm not saying that Death magnetic is a bad album, but I still prefer the music they made when they had like 3 amps and 3 guitars each.

@SLOnTheRoad Yes, I agree, plus the guitars they were using did not have EMGs yet (James was using his V copy with a Seymour Duncan Invader) that sound is fucking beastly.

@ZOMB13 Actually, if you're a big Kill'Em All Fan, you're right, EMGs weren't around at this time. They start using EMGs one RTL (on some songs) and MOP (entirely). EMGs are great sounding Pickups when they're well configured. They did a great job on AJFA and the Black Album. For some reasons, they totally changed their tone on the late 90's.
