I'm glad Julian went on to do a very successful show, but I hated how they made Cole turn evil again. I wish they would of made him die saving Phoebe or something like that.
I liked Cole/Phoebe... but she's kind of a really big stupid bitch who doesn't deserve him. And Paige is just a poor, last minute replacement for Prue, to keep the power of 3. She wouldn't even exist if Prude hadn't been killed off.
4th was the best season of Charmed. Together with 6th because of the story of Wyatt being evil, there finally was some drama back. 5th season sucked, there was just comedy and lame stories
this show lost me after this... u dont invest that much charactor, development, humanity, emotion in 1 charactor... then just a snap of the finger, turn him evil, kill him off n sweep him under the rug and expect me to be ok with that

phoebe and cole's love was real and strong! he was her real love, she could marry whoever she wants, but there;s always one love that's unforgettable and unique and that was cole... the real reason why cole ended up like that was because julian(cole) was offered to do another show and he accepted , otherwise there wouldnt be coop and phoebe, the directors just brought him into the show so phoebe wouldnt end up alone! coop looks cute with phoebe but he cant replace phole! THERE'S NO WAY!
I'm sorry but that was a lame ending for Cole. With his consistency in the show, how he changed the Charmed Ones lives, he deserved a way more extravagant vanquishing. :/ I was quite disappointed. I miss Cole. :(
i think the writers of charmed really lost ther ways alot of times, they had the whole thing with the avatars goin no where, the times when there magic was exposed was dealt with rubishly, and the amount of times they flip floped cole's character was too many. i think the actors were too good for the material they were given too
for example the fact that phoebe and cole's love seemed like it was 4ever when it ended phoebe did such a sudden 360 it just wasn't believable after everything they'd been through. i would like it if they had stayed together like most fans, but i also think a better alternative then the one they chose (which was to drag out cole's craziness for phoebe & her negativeness towards him that got soo lame) &
@jonanice I know what you mean, specifically if you watch the last episode of season 4 where she goes to the demonic wasteland place there totally happy to see each other and shes over the moon to see him, yet when season 5 starts, she hates his guts with a passion and tries to get divorced instantly.... instead maybe have him turn against the charmed ones again & be like how he was at start of series 3 but it would of been more exciting to watch as he would of made such a great opponent after learning so much about the sister's that way when his death happened it wouldnt of been such a shock & seemed worth something
The biggest problem i have with cole being killed is that pheobe wouldn't give him another chance. He could have killed all 4 of the charmed ones on so many different ocassions but he didn't because he loved pheobe and he was good but apparently giving up everything AND saving her and her sister AND helping to vanquish the source just wasn't enough to prove he was good.
@01bigmark Cole NEVER chose to become the source. He was possessed by the Source and tried to tell her a few times but 'he' wouldn't let him (he being the Source). And when his love for Phoebe grew stronger because of the baby he was able to overpower the Source temporarily and tried to shift the power to the Wizard, remember? The Seer was the one to screw everything up for Phoebe and Cole.
@WhiteBuddha At first he wasn't choosing to be evil...... when he took over the sources powers in order for them 2 vanquish the source...... yes the seer did have a big role in it...... but utimatly cole went along with it. Like ok yeah he tried to switch the power to the wizzard but the wizzard was vanquished and cole was still evil. As many times as cole was vanquished and came back Phoebe gave him plenty of chances as I said before and ultimately he still choose evil.
@01bigmark When the Wizard was vanquished Phoebe chose to become evil, and Cole lost his last chance of becoming good. His only chance at becoming good relied on his love for Phoebe and the baby. When she chose to stand by him as the Source (again with the Seer's help) he lost the power struggle for good.
As for Season 5 Cole....the writers really screwed him up, along with Phoebe. The jumps from the later episodes of Season 4 to the episode of Season 5 really make no sense for Phoebe/Cole

This doesn't make any sense. Cole became an avatar, went and changed history. Yet, the avatars aren't affected by the change they say, so why did cole get affected by the change since he was also an avatar at the time, he should have been immune ragardless. Next, why would the avatars allow cole to become one and change history, only to end up not becoming an avatar with them in the end, that would be a waste of their time and powers, "Join us so you can unjoin us." wtf, writers, wtf?

Avatars=above it, Cole=avatar, and therefore should be cole=above it. Cause if you are outside of the time loop, anything you do to the time loop wouldn't concern you because you are outside of it. It is a huge flaw of the avatar system by saying cole was changed by changing the time loop. The realities thing makes sense, but the avatar thing does not. At all. Oh well, had to get rid of him somehow right?

Cole was awesome, one of the best characters. It was a mutual decision for Julian McMahon to leave the show. He wanted try news things and felt he had given his all to Cole character. Originally the Cole character was only suppose to be around for 1st season. In end both sides agreed it was time to move on. It was good to see back in season 7, but I wish he was back for the series finale. Unfortunately the budget was cut and they didn't have the money to bring back more actors.

It was Season 5, 100th Episode of Charmed, half way through the season..i couldn't agree more, Cole should have stayed, they way they ended it was awful!! Cole makes a guest appearance in Season 7 as well but it is NOT about him getting back together with Phoebe.
So, this episode is the last time we see Cole. And we have to wait till season 7 to see him reappear. Could you tell what exact episode in season 7 he appeared again? I only watched till this episode in season 5 and have no chance to continue to watch the movie. Really love Phoebe and Cole. They are perfect together.
that was a power-bounding potion, this was to kill belthzor. if you remember in an episode where there was a man half demon they used a similar potion and he fully died.
The demon, Belthazor was given a second chance (when the Avatars altered reality). The Source of all evil was given a 2ns chance (when the Seer took advantage of Cole's love for Phoebe). Cole was NEVER given a chance! One of the many examples for this scenario are displayed in the episiode "Sympathy for the Demon" (in season 5). Even though Cole had made yet another sacrifice (for Phoebe, her family, and good overall), they still disregard saving Cole after he vanquishes their nemesis, Barbus
Yes. He has beaten Belthazor and the Source,but in the end it was his love that killed him. His fate was decided when he tried to give his Source powers to the wizard when they stopped him,and when Barbas took his powers and they returned them back to him. :( he was the best...its pity it had to end that way

Terrible, indeed. While Cole's character shall always be my favorite, others like Andy & Prue will have a special place in my heart as well. At least they wrote T. W. King's off by sacrificing himself for Prue & the sisters. Meanwhile, Julian didn't even get a good note. It was like a total discard. I'm just glad they sort of made up for it by letting him guest star in season 7 to save Piper & help her and Leo fight to stay together & for love. ^_0
Yeah, even though this series at first looks like the one of the "justice-always-wins" kinds, things with Cole were so unfair, he was trying so hard to prove himself good and still ended up vanquished, and yet, he helps them even after that.

Okay then...I thought Cole was the hottest. Total favourite. He was a jerk in the end even hitting Poebe. But still liked him and was shocked that he was brought to an end. Wish they made him good again instead. 8( Never like Paige much, she was pretty slutty or something. Phoebe was cool, especially since her & Cole. And she's the youngest like me. Piper was really sweet. Prue was the nice protector big sis. The kids were adorable & everyone else was ok. Oh & the guy as Leo is in Blue Lagoon 2!
I love the end of this. You really feel that its the end or an era. I loved Cole's Character because he always brought this balance to the show that you didn't see in the first season as well as an excuse to create a reappearing demon ... family and friends so to speak that talked about more then just killing the charmed ones. It gave you a look into there world. I knew that sooner or later he would die but I'm glad that he went out with a bang.
I completely agree. i was a little upset he died because I was like why couldn't he come back like before? Was it the sources powers that helped him previously? Plus he was an Avatar and a demon but he could die from that potion...strange. Plus they never gathered around the book again....hmmm.
That's not when he dies. he tries to kill himself by doing that, and ends up surviving it because he's invincible. This is after that, when he's used all his power to create an alternative universe.
When Cole met Phoebe there came his demise. If that were to never happen, he would still be Belthazor and he would made a great source due to no ditraction by any love.
what up with that red orbing thingy cole did to get the potion, he didnt have that power back in season 3 when he was belthazor, unless he had other unknown powers...lolzx
Yes, but when Cole became an avatar, he used his time manipulation powers to change the world, and he reverted back to being Cole/Belthazor, meaning he wasn't vanquished and sent to the Wasteland. In that reality, he wasn't invincible.

he comes back in 2 episodes so he prooves he not dead he only realised that he cant win phoebe so he leaves her alone so she can be happy because we all know cole stil lives with the demon teacher he made human and when piper is in other demention you see cole in there house to guide piper
no now cole is gone for good. he come back in 50 episodes as a spirt stuck between life and death. he guides piper and she is the only oen who can see him because she was also right between life and death. from this episode he dies for good

His fate was decided when he tried to give his Source powers to the wizard when they stopped him,and when Barbas took his powers and they returned them back to him. :( he was the best...its pity it had to end that way

I absolutely agree with you! I love this show, but I find it terrible when they kill such good characters as Cole (and Prue, or even Andy at the beginning).

Terrible, indeed. While Cole's character shall always be my favorite, others like Andy & Prue will have a special place in my heart as well. At least they wrote T. W. King's off by sacrificing himself for Prue & the sisters. Meanwhile, Julian didn't even get a good note. It was like a total discard. I'm just glad they sort of made up for it by letting him guest star in season 7 to save Piper & help her and Leo fight to stay together & for love. ^_0

Yeah, even though this series at first looks like the one of the "justice-always-wins" kinds, things with Cole were so unfair, he was trying so hard to prove himself good and still ended up vanquished, and yet, he helps them even after that.
Well, injustice is also a part of life and we have to deal with that. Do I make sense, lol?

That's about right. Sometimes its better to be honest. The good guys don't always win. Sometimes evil gets the better of us too. Charmed may be science fiction but it had its relations to reality. ;P

Okay then...I thought Cole was the hottest. Total favourite. He was a jerk in the end even hitting Poebe. But still liked him and was shocked that he was brought to an end. Wish they made him good again instead. 8( Never like Paige much, she was pretty slutty or something. Phoebe was cool, especially since her & Cole. And she's the youngest like me. Piper was really sweet. Prue was the nice protector big sis. The kids were adorable & everyone else was ok. Oh & the guy as Leo is in Blue Lagoon 2!

I love the end of this. You really feel that its the end or an era. I loved Cole's Character because he always brought this balance to the show that you didn't see in the first season as well as an excuse to create a reappearing demon ... family and friends so to speak that talked about more then just killing the charmed ones. It gave you a look into there world. I knew that sooner or later he would die but I'm glad that he went out with a bang.

I completely agree. i was a little upset he died because I was like why couldn't he come back like before? Was it the sources powers that helped him previously? Plus he was an Avatar and a demon but he could die from that potion...strange. Plus they never gathered around the book again....hmmm.

That's not when he dies. he tries to kill himself by doing that, and ends up surviving it because he's invincible. This is after that, when he's used all his power to create an alternative universe.

When Cole met Phoebe there came his demise. If that were to never happen, he would still be Belthazor and he would made a great source due to no ditraction by any love.

Yes, but when Cole became an avatar, he used his time manipulation powers to change the world, and he reverted back to being Cole/Belthazor, meaning he wasn't vanquished and sent to the Wasteland. In that reality, he wasn't invincible.

cole should of never died. I know julian Mcmahan had to work on nip/tuk. But i will always remember him as cole. Him and phoebe should of stayed together. Like i wanted to see them both had their child. He would of been so cool. Possibiley stronger than Wyatt.

no now cole is gone for good. he come back in 50 episodes as a spirt stuck between life and death. he guides piper and she is the only oen who can see him because she was also right between life and death. from this episode he dies for good
