  • This dog is on top of the rang-order in your house.

  • this is funny

  • My Berner does the same. She jumps and bites when she plays and occasionally bites when not playing but she's only 7 months old. I love my Berner!! (Her name is Lucy)

  • thats a strong dog

  • I live in Omaezaki and have a Bernese ,I take him to the beach everyday but he loves being inside too

    Where do you live ?

My dog Dave needs a friend he is 1 year old and too big to play with other dogs ,they are scared of him and then they try to fight him which is a stupid thing to do because he will sit on them

  • I couldnt leave mine, hed cry he is part of the family, couldnt leave him on his own in the dark and rain! I try to do that to my mama and she said you dont do that to family....so BOOM!! :)

  • Also, notice as soon as you've had enough, she stops immediately and goes to licking and kisses. PERFECT behavior. Good berners know when to play, when to play a bit more rough and exactly when to stop.

  • Great Berner! My berner likes to play like this as well. It is natural. Mine sometimes doesn't know its own strength or size.

Also (other commenters) Bernese Mountain Dogs do not belong solely in the mountains... mine never wants to be further than 3' away from me. If I leave a room she follows. If I go for a car ride she wants to be in the car. If I go to bed, she wants to sleep next to the bed. They are family oriented and it is largely recommended you DO NOT keep them outside by themselves.

  • my neighbor has one of these but his is like a horse its HUGE it licks my face on all fours maybe it has to step up a little bit but its huge i once saw it move a car, okay maybe it didnt but it is still a beast and for some reason it loves to savagly attack me on the beach, and by attack i mean give me a nice spit bath.

  • waw what a bunch of douchbags posting here , my berner loves play fighting and he knows when to stop also , he doesnt mind being inside or outside jeezus and here u guys act like little children saying this dog cant be inside or saying to take the dog tothe dogpark . Its just a video of him playing inside ... I liked ur video thumbs up !

  • We play with our Bernese Lisa just in the same way. She is so clever, she always know that she can do anything with me and my dad, but not even a jump on my mum. When she gets rude, I just say stop and she stops it immediately and began patting me with her paws. They are adorable, and not at all agressive, so I see no problem with that. My bernese also hates being inside, and as a dog I would hate running on parquet, but I think she can get used to it.

  • That's nice behavior for a responsible pet owner.

  • just as I thought the human did not stand a chance.

  • bring this dog to the dog park,,,

    have fun

  • honestly, most of the dogs are not for house..for example,bernese..he is a mountain dog,so he likes outdoors..mine bernese is always outside and cant bare beeing closed in a home

  • Not all dogs are the same tho. Although they're big, Berneses are often very social and want to be with their family.

  • My bernese loves being at home too, especially when my dad is here. He's very happy to just hang out and lie by the couch with dad. Or snuggle up while watching tv.

  • @MatejceS

you clearly dont know what u are talking about. the bernese moutain dog is a house dog, wants to and has to be with the family at all times ( in the mountains?? just cuz its in the name?). they are very emotional and hate being left alone. its good to not talk about things u dontknow

  • @amirjon

i know what i am talking about because i have one, it has 70 kg and no way that dog is gonna enter the house because with his half meter tail, it breaks every single thing in the garden. imagine that big inside.. plus, he is the winter dog, so dont tell me he enjoys beeing inside on 25 degrees, while outside is 5, when for him +10 celsius degrees is hot. AND YES IT IS A MOUNTAIN DOG originally from SUISSE Alpes.

  • your comment is serious. you are right and I totally agree. I and my family usually strictly ban my dog to jump and even don't allow her to put paws on things. She completely understands this kind of ply is allowed for special occasion of fun. You would understand she is not urged to get aggressive if you saw her eyes and face. Just enjoying and playful. For the record, we had adequate dog training from a professional trainer who has own bernese and knows bernese character very well.

  • i hate dogs enter my house !

  • do you like anime or have you ever herd of it?

  • my bernese is just like that but waaaaay more hurtful

  • I know! they are just trying to play but it hurts enough and I got bruises so often. but you still loved and enjoyed it huh?

  • My dog used to corner me and attack me if I moved at all. (playfully, but it still hurt)

  • adorable! I have a bernese as well and she's just the same when it comes to playing.

  • she became 2 years just this March so still want s to play a lot!

  • SOO cute! i loved your Bernese. what is his/her age currently?
