@nicknickwoods no, just pack down the kite on the backstall safety and roll up the kite with an opened vent in the water. Then put the kite on the board and paddle back in.
it is a closed cell foil, so water hardly does come in. When it does come in the drainage system transports the water to the tips and there it drains from the special vents in the tips. 8m is comparable to the speed movement of a 10m c kite. Cheers
ok so you can relaunch it when it drops in the water but what happens when you got waves and the kite actually gets more wet? also is it fast enough as a c kite? i saw the kite was a 8m what is the speed movement compared to a 9m c kite?
but an emergency pack down = no more kite?
