Jay made jokes about NBC too. Conan has not made a single joke demeaning Jay regarding this mess. ever. In fact he said on his last show that he's grateful for NBC and feels very fortunate. He specifically said cynicism is the quality he hates most, and Conan is truly not a bitter type. His ratings went up as he's going out? True. They all sign non-compete clauses which typically last for a year....Conan fought with NBC and they reduced his to 7 mos. Jay could and should have done the same, instead he inexplicably did NBC a favor by taking the 10pm slot, which failed and rightfully so. Jay should have done what Conan is doing...if Jay did that, he'd be starting a new show with Fox this Spring (if Fox even wanted him).
They say he failed to get the ratings and the local news channels across the country have been crying about low lead-in viewers hurting their 11pm news broadcasts. But that's not my point, I'm just saying like Conan, Jay could have easily fought to reduce his non-compete to 7 mos or so, and been start up at Fox. Conan got 7 million viewers on his last show so he was doing something right..
Maybe so. Although I think the 7 million views was more a function of the "fight" that was getting so much publicity than Conan's drawing ability. If he had that kind of drawing power the whole issue would never have come up. Just my thoughts.

How did Conan act like a punk? NBC gave him no support and threw him to the wolves, but Conan is a punk for making a few innocent jokes? Leno made worse jokes and he wasn't even getting screwed.
And clearly you didn't watch the final episode where Conan thanked NBC. Piss off.

I like Conan because hes funny and all, but what I like even more about him is his loyalty to his crew and staff..I dont care how much money he makes..He loves his crew, pays them when there was a strike and pays them with this mess..and wants to keep the same crew together forever...I mean how much more loyalty do you need? I want to work for Conan!!!

Conan is the man, and has been for years.
I will not be watching ANYTHING Leno does on or off the air from now on.... and I can't wait to support Conan is whatever he does.
Leno is old news and was never funny, he has lost ALL points in my book for not being the better person and letting Conan take his rightful place.
Leno had his chance and it was a great run, he did and accomplished tons.
It was Conan's time, he not only deserved it, but he earned it.
NBC suits are scumbag pieces of trash.

yea Conan will easily be picked up by another network after hes allowed to be back on air my guess is fox hes to good to not be on the air and with all thats happend now I dont see leno getting his old number of viewers back which will be hilarious alot of people think leno has something to do with this whole mess while I dont see that I still dont like him and will never watch him.
