Actually , BMW do not have a V6 for their X6 or any models in their ranges. It is a xDrive3.0d INLINE 6, or xDrive35d, for diesels. BMW have a xDrive5.0 in V8 guise.

every time i see this car i think of a wanabe gangster in the south with 26" chrome rims on a 4 door car. This is perfect 4 the 'hustlers' who have to jack up their cars to fit huge wheels in them.

Ì tried the X6 35d, and it really handles well in corners, and still gives you this high up suv feeling. It suits its purpose. Nice ride, but I prefer a 5-series. Better performance (same engine), Same space. Plus I dont like sitting upright.

BMW say that Coupe styling on a SUV is what the inspiration for the design. The styling of the X6 is like putting cottage cheese on your strawberry ice cream, it just doesn't work.
