  • great lesson man!

many times we forget part important a in any music - the dynamic!

    cheers

  • @diegobass21

Many thanks my friend, the reason I talk about these things is because I recognize their importance and that they are easy to forget in the middle of all the technique and theory.

I'm Glad you like it! :)

  • What bass is that?

  • @JackHutcheon It's a Tobias Basic 4 String.

  • Good thoughts, and cool editing.

Where are you from? I can't place your accent.

  • Your cool man, probably the next Marlow DK? ;)

  • @LouBass09 Haha, thanks man... Marlowe and I do different things actually... :) he is one of the reasons I am doing these videos...

  • lol extreme, i love ur vid editing!

thanks for reminding about dynamics. i find it really hard on a not so good bass that i have.

  • @thereturnfc If you are comfortable with your bass it shouldn't be much of a problem... I have looked through your videos you have decent equipment and very nice feel :)

    Cheers.

  • I have a problem with my playing dynamics: When I practice I can keep control of my right hand, but when I play songs where the bass drives the groove (for example "Dreamin'" by Slave) my hand goes crazy... Is there any solution to this?

  • @ujnawierzbie It's quite common that practicing dynamics by yourself does not translate as well when in a band situation, I would recommend working with a metronom on this song first of all, after you gain rhythmic stability ask your band to play the song part by part and see what exactly does not work, try to relax, lead with the groove but dont "beat" the bass, even if you are supposed to drive themusic you must blend in, be focused, more than half the work is being aware of the issues Thanks

  • @RuleofThump Thank you for the advice. I'm looking forward to more of your lessons!

  • @ujnawierzbie You are welcome! thanks for the comment, keep in touch :)
