I agree, you could have bought a new machine after that hefty "service" replacing the motors and pump is not a service thats and overhaul. I dont know what people write home about Dyson's their vacuum cleaners are not that good as well, Miele is much better in more ways than one. The only thing selling Dyson's is the fact that they look quite funky, modern and "well designed"
3000 since 2005? We had a washing machine from August 2003 right up to December 2008 doing about 2-3 washes a day (Zannussi Aquacycle 1500) and there was still nothing wrong with the pump or motor. It just started to leak from somewhere and the washing machine didn't allow usage from about 2 days after we spotted the tiny leak.
Zanussi are reliable. The dyson washing machine i have has done 3381 cycles since july 2003, I have owned it since december 2008 and done 46 cycles in it. I only use it about 6 times a month as i live on my own.
We now have a CANDY GO 1682 (Grand 6 AAA class 1600 8Kg). We bought it not so long ago, and ever since we have had problems. Thats not good for a washing machine that is part of the Electrolux group (I think) and seems relatively new.
The Candy is part of Candy group who own Hoover. The Electrolux brand isnt connected to Candy, Electrolux make AEG, Zanussi, Tricity Bendiz to name a few.
well i was gonna buy a dyson some years ago but when i bought one of there hoovers and saw how badly they were made and how often it broke down and the lack of thinking gone into them i decided never again so i bought a mile hoover and washing machine and the quality is far superior and both machines are very quite and well taught out.how long are the dyson machines guaranteed for....

Nicko, your contrarotator sounds like it has a boost leak, I cannot hear the dump valve when the full speed spin ceases.
Just sayin'....

DId you have to replace the motors in the dyson?
Dyson have very clever marketing and different approaches to things but I'm not sure the quality is what people perceive it to be.
THe local vacuum repair place - every second vacuum coming in for repairs was a dyson.
Sometimes the simple and proven solutions are the best.

Oh, and the washing machine ran perfect. The clothes always smelled fresh and so did the washing machine.

ameyahingorani 3 years ago
I can't do any more videos of my ariston, i sold it soon after i got the dyson.
Nicko6180 3 years ago
No it doesn't, it just does it in the main wash cycle for about 15 minutes altogether.

im shocked at how unbalanced it is while it spins, and the noise from it is very loud
carlocardillo 2 years ago
It's no louder than most machines when it spins. It spins more balanced now than it did.
