  • MR ADRIAN DWIGHT SWABY

  • I was the 10,000th!!!!!

  • I didn't know it was that simple to make it. The industrial version (petrochem) uses high pressure and temperature and a complex system to convert H2S to sulfur.

  • @vmelkon Holy-Terrorist:>*=* Ah, this method in this video are the stuff to remove pollution of sulphur dioxide[SO2] for used a ecologic process, a 2nd generation super science has coming!

    -^=^-

  • nice

  • Holy-Terrorist:>Hydrogen sulfide(H2S) + sulfur dioxide(SO2) + water(H2O) =

    H2Sx2 + SO2 = H2Ox2 = Sx2

the water is a catalysor for fast reaction to making sulfur(S) yellow !

    Wow good stuff !

  • h2s s02?

  • I would rather buy a bottle of sulfur.

  • Me too. I buy sulfur by the 50 pound bucket. But this offers a way to destroy hydrogen sulfide. Make a strong solution of sodium metabisulfite and bubble your waste H2S through it so you don't breath it! Resue sulfur.

  • hydrogen sufide is extremely toxic and flammable and slightly explosive and sulfur dioxide is fairly poisonous.

  • Can some one write this reaction... ? H2S+SO2=H2O2+2S ???

  • 2 H2S + SO2 -> 3 S + 2 H2O, so two moles of hydrogen sulfide is added to one mole sulfur dioxide.

  • @umbramen 2 H2S(g) + SO2(g) → 2 H2O(l) + 2 S(s) look in the description.

  • yay sulfur equals flame flame equals fun...

  • Me neither :P

Don't know where to get these gases anyway. I guess you could make some SO2 by burning sulphur, and H2S by eating sulphur and collecting your farts haha.

  • Burn sulfur in H2 I think will make H2S

    or H2SO4 solution + Fe2S3

  • I have a video of me making H2S gas. Except in my video I mix sand in the mixture too to make silicon. To make H2S, all you need to do is mix aluminum powder and sulfur powder (or melt solid sulfur and mix in the aluminum powder), and then ignite it. The crust left over will react with water to create H2S.

  • I wouldn't dare to perform this reaction at home...
