this stage is getting a spiritual sucsessor in Sonic Colors, it called star light carnival. you can check the screen shots of sonic colors,

in sonic colors their is this flying road (Except in colors its purple) and their are enemies chasing you too (Except its the Moto Bug and some yellow robot from unleashed). can't wait to play it my self!

in sonic colors their is this flying road (Except in colors its purple) and their are enemies chasing you too (Except its the Moto Bug and some yellow robot from unleashed), one of the concepts of the stage is the same, having ships and having a road sonic is running onto chasing enemies. and you can even Enter them (Like Levitated ruins) according to the previews.

I should explain more why i think so: the story book team (and unleashed team) are working on this.

- their is flying road like levitated ruins, Very Similar and Even in Moves when it rotates (Check TGS Trailer) Except that its purple in colors.

- their are ships around the Level. the Flying road sonic runs on Resolves around those ships

- According to the previews, sonic gets to enter these ships. in Levitated ruins you also Enter those ships.

- their is an Enemy Chasing you on that road. only difference compared to satsr,its Motobug instead of statue

I am not saying it will have the same level design or it would be on rails, i am saying the similarties are so obvious, the TGS Trailer even shows that flying road rotating [and check my other notes in my previous comment].

i loved SATSR, and this stage is one of my favorite, so i am happy for it to return

and also it feels like a mix between egg fleet from heroes and Death egg from sonic 3 and stardust speed way from CD.

I dreamed for a sonic 3 death egg in 3D :)

the sonic games need to go back to that winning formula they had on the dreamcast and gamecube with sonic adventure these games are just letting me down. you cant even go back in this game because its on rails. and sonic doesnt even run right. just a big dissapointment

Anyway Sonic Unleashed was great and really brung sonic back to his roots.

Least favorite stage? LEAST FAVORITE STAGE??? You must be crazy cuz this is the best stage out of them all next to Skeleton Dome with fast paced action and awesome music. This was a good run, but there's somethin I don't get. Each time I do this stage I have to get 148 rongs instead of 100.

Secret Rings is the fastest and best looking sonic game. Graphics in Sonic for X360/PS3 are like on DC Its a real shame.

Unfortunately, most people hate it, because the first three hours, where you have less acceleration and worse controls than later, leaves a bad image to them. But the other 37 hours I played where just awesome, except for some missions . .. but that shouldn't be more than 5, out of ... like 100?

btw, I turned the voice acting to Japanese, sounds better :)

LEAST FAVORITE?!?!? How can this level be your least favorite? IMO this is the best level. And when sonic is on the trail, was one of the few times I was actually having FUN! I think Pirate storm was the worst, It forced you to stop and watch out for enemies so many times that there was no "running-fast" moments. And thats what sonic is all about! Thats why almost all sonic fans hated Sonic 06, because there were none of those moments. The game forced you to stop and kill things to proceed.

The Japanese voices in this game are just vastly superior I have this game and I swithched the voices to Japanese and I have to agree that the English voices of this game are nothing like the Sonic Adventure and Sonic Heroes and I'm sorry voices in video games may not effect some of you; but, hey a game that has good gameplay but, but bad voice is still not a GOOD game because without the good voices the game doesn't feel as lively as it should so, please don't hate my comment it's my opinion

i actually discovered today that i really like this level! You have to be a high level though to get through the wind comfortably (you seem to be a really high level coodoo!) but I love the pace of it and the way it's laid out. The trail bit is pretty fun if you can do speed breaks, and there is some skill in it even though the trail is probably too thin and it goes on for too long...

Great game anyway though ^_^

I. HATED. This. Mission. I rented the game, and beat it(almost got a gold on Alf, but step-mom told me to go to bed, grrr>_< ), and I hated this place. This and the dino egg mission. Oddly enough, even at the low level I was at when I got there, Night Palace was a fave.
