What really sucked for me is that I was a child of the 90's. God I hated that era of music. Garbage like NSYNC being popular made me question if anything was worth listening to on the radio. Luckily my Dad showed me a ton of music video's he recorded from the 80's on VHS and saved my childhood.

I fell in love with The Fixx thanks to him showing me this and One Thing Leads to Another. I'm probably the only 26 year old who's got Beautiful Friction pre-ordered over anything modern. >_<

Heavy Metal was my favorite music at the time..however this band has that sound as well only a little softer. I used to go to a beer bar with dancers and they had a great sound system and played all these songs. I could and often did spend 8 hours there...I'd arrive around 6pm after work and stay until 2am closing time.

This a different version of the song then the original. I mean its similar but its not what some remember and they are right. Anyway, The Fixx rocks and I like this version just as well as the original. I have like every Fixx album on vinyl and CD and this band is just incredible. Pretty funny cause my collection of their stuff sits along side my Disturbed and KISS and Bowie and Duran Duran (just to name a few) stuff LOL
