id almost bet money the sear spring popped out from underneath the auto safety....ALSO...these surp pistols havent been cleaned in years...get some carb cleaner and blow that thing out first...take the grips off before u do that, and blow that little pistol out...lots of gunk..maybe gummed up safety bar with the spring, its inside the safety latch...look at a schematic....just giving you a few things to consider, man.... :D
look into the top hole on the ejector...do you see the end of the sear spring?..if so, its installed incorrectly...the sear spring must fit under the auto safety...bitch to install...you must roll the sear spring so that the top leg is longer than the bottom leg (with the 90 turn...bottom leg..) in order to fit on the tab under the auto safety......something else...the safety, just knock the pin out and lift it off......watch for the safety bar and the spring....hope it helps
