I have a similar machine that runs on a Kubota engine, it carries 5 wheelbarrow loads at a time and when you have uphill or long hauls it saves a lot of time and effort.
@nhollinger123 Thanks for watching. This is just a demo video for the CB Tracked Hauler, for jobs where you may not be able to load directly into the truck. You definitely wouldn't use a CB Tracked Hauler or any other material handling equipment when you could load directly into the truck.
@Alexsslawncare Thanks for your feedback. We hope your lawn care biz is ready for spring! A strong guy can handle about 200lbs/wheel barrow load. His production doesn't stay consistent the whole work day. The ability to haul 1500lbs/load at only 28" wide, climb hills & dump high hydraulically (i.e. over the side of a 20yd box) pays for itself in added production & reduced labor. There is a 2nd gear for speed. It depends on your biz operations. Other features like the PTO to power hand tools..
@CreteBusters I looked into it a little more. And Yeah, it would be nice. But i would hardly use it, I have my tractor and lawn cart. Maybe if i become a HUGE lawn care biz i might buy one. Its a sweet rig tho! I would love to have one to play with! But, The moneys not here... wish you guys luck!!!
@Alexsslawncare makes it valuable to some guys. I won't go on, but sorry to hear that there is no application for the CB Tracked Hauler with how you run your business. This video was also just for demonstration of the ability to climb an incline fully loaded and dump high so you can pile. Obviously this is good for jobs where your truck can't sit next to your machine. For example in a back yard or digging a trench inside a building where an exit isn't close. Have a good one.
that is an awsome thing, its got to be almost the best powerd barrow in the world, BUT why oh why dosnt it have a stand on it so you dont have to walk, it would be the first thing id weld on if i bought one..it makes you part of the machine..
It does have a second gear for the flats. This video was just to show the concept. The ability to run up a ramp fully loaded and the ability to pile with the high dump are great time and back savers.
Thanks for the viewing. Check out the response to the comment 9 months ago for an explanation to your question. We decided to leave the video up because many have touched base with us and think the video's purpose is fine.
Is that a "air cooled" Kubota? Very loud for a water cooled motor. I do similar work, and you might want to look at a RC 30, or a Boxer. Then again, to each his own.
Engine doesnt sound that great. i would have just put the damn truck next to the excavator. Im sure it has its place on small jobs but this one was retarded
Thanks for the feedback. In response to your comment about the engine, it is a Kubota Diesel, one of the best available on the market. I'm sure if you are at all familiar with compact diesel engines, you know this. Secondly, this video was done as a demonstration only. There are projects (limited access & confined space) where your truck can't be right next to your excavator and this sure beats a wheelbarrow. However, if this video is sending a confusing message we may look at removing it.

I'd love one of these to put litter in the turkey barn!
does it cope with really soft terrain?

why wouldn't you just load the dirt right into the truck with the tractor... seems kinda of an unneeded middle man...

Though I should mention, I wish it had a second gear for the flats, it would be nice if it was a little faster.

I think the trick is to run 2 of those, you would be non stop ;o)
haggis 3 years ago
We do normally run 2 for maximum productivity.

2 young guys, 2 Shovel & 2 wheelbarrow. Probably less fast but certainly less expensive...
Mazeau24 3 years ago
@Mazeau24 In tight backyards ect...less overhead, less workers + less payroll & more efficient & productive!
Creative572 1 year ago
um....why dont you just back the truck up and load with the track hoe?
