looks and money aren't everything, sure he's not perfect, but all in all he was there for Lorelai more than chris ever was, he treated Rory like his own daughter when he never had to. In my opinion that means more than how much money a guy has and how he looks.

I don't think he understood her like he thought she did, she had a lot of problems and a lot of baggage and when things got messed up with April coming in and all the secrets they hid from each other, they knew it wasn't going to work, but he never gave up on her, begging her to marry him and even planning a secret party for Rory not because he wanted to get Lorelai's attention or prove anything to her but because he wanted to do it for Rory.

@OhhMyApplePiie Uh...Luke loaned Lorelai thirty thousand dollars. He wasn't poor. He just wasn't materialistic. He was happy with his flannel shirts and jeans, his beat up truck, his apartment above the diner. Just a basic guy.

despite what other people have said about the transitions, i liked them. it was boring, run-of-the-mill fading like so many other people use. while those can be good, i liked the way your clip was done. and i love that song. one of my absolute favourites! well done!

Thanks! Like I said to someone else in comments, I don't usually do those sorts of transitions, but that's how the song is. The music lends itself to the crazy, disjointed transitions.

Aww, bittersweet! I loved it though cuz you made is so it looked like Lorelai was watching her own life and then she wakes up and it was only a dream. If that was what you intended...great idea! If it wasn't you still did an awesome job with this vid! =D

That's kind of what I intended. I was going more for the idea of seeing your life flash before your eyes; just that idea that she relived her life in her dream and woke up having to decide whether she'd made what she wanted of it.

ok never heard the song before

the concept and clip selection is great

one thing stop with the canned transitions and sweeps

they are ugly and no video producer uses them

stick to fade to blacks and blends

but most videos just use no transition

other then that cool deal

I would really like to see this video redone without the transition effects

My transition choices aren't really your decision.  I rarely use them, but I felt they fit for this video. If you want to see it "redone" without the transitions, do it yourself!

It's the perfect song for Lorelai period. With the way she always tries so hard to do what's right by everybody, but still often fails, it's perfect. At the end of the day, she's created a pretty good life for herself. I approved your video response. I'll watch yours soon. :)
