basically, if you have an empty bottle on B as an Adult, and go back in time, whatever item you set on C-Right as a kid assigns an Item to the B button depending on some value. In this case, when the bunny hood is set to C-Right and link goes to the future, the number of magic beans you bought from the bean guy determines what item is assigned to the B button.
