  • I disliked this video cause I can't make a song as beautiful.....

  • FAVOURITE ARCADE FIRE SONG NEXT TO WAKE UP

  • The burbs cant be so bad! You live in sweet clean sprawl and not too far from a huge city center! You can still get to the venues, hipness, and sophistication of the big town then escape the nonsense of such a place.

  • @jimamia77 I agree, but don't you find some suburbs a bit cold and artificial? The song describes that feeling of living somwhere a bit further. (it has that something, for me at least)

  • @jimamia77 it looks like that from the outside, but growing up in one and living in one for practically your whooe life can be a bit stifling/

  • Amazing. Just F'ing Amazing!

  • what a band.

  • The album made me into an Arcade Fire junkie. No need for rehab.

  • i love this song

  • Love the way this songs builds up!!

  • This is the catchiest song I've ever heard in my entire life. I could probably listen to it on repeat until the day I die and never get sick of it.

Says something about the band, and this awesome edited video.

Props for making a video that perfectly fits this song.

I bet if Win saw this, he'd be proud.

  • We run away and we don't know why

  • Suburbia = lower quality of life, downtown living= superior living, especially in places like Manhattan, Vancouver, San Francisco , and all Western European metropolitan areas.

  • Awesome upload. I just want to drive out of L.A. into the desert after watching that. I am stuck in the sprawl.

  • no dislikes!!!AWESOME!!!!!!i love arcade fire they spread joy to the world!!!! :)

  • excellent video

  • This video reminds me of Joanna Newsome's Peach Plum Pear

  • I wonder if the title of this song is related in any way to the book "Mountains Beyond Mountains" written by Dr. Paul Farmer about Régine Chassagne's homeland of Haiti. It's an amazing book, BTW. Definitely a good read. It may make you cry.

  • hahaha I was watching this footage in a lecture the other day and for the whole time I had The Suburbs running through my head. Well made!

  • @phillywilly89 HA! That's funny

  • I haven't seen a mixed instrumental band that I've been truly fond of since Godspeed You Black Emperor.

While the music is different on both sides, the structures are rich. So much fertile land....
