hi, im just starting to learn how to dj, i heard a lot of good things about ddjs1 but im concerned about how user friendly is the interface.. do you think this is a good unit to start... no dj experience at all but i dont wanna start with a low quality one and then keep on buying as i progress. i guess what im trying to say is will this thing work for me if im just learning?? i was also thinking about the numark ns7?? which on do you think is better?
@jyaps1982 sure it is a begginer equipment and willl make you pro and works with advanced stuff but if you have the money go on if not go for some cheap equipment like mixtrack pro (also your comment was put like spam i quit it now) :)
@Ktwonnn yeah this controller is very nice .Use Traktor instead, virtual DJ is a pain in the ass,cant use scroll to move the sliders or knobs.And Traktor is awesome doing loops with perfect timing .
This controller seems pretty nice, but why would you want to have the screen right on front of your face? It blocks big part of your view. People should use computer screens that are facing up (called rack mountable screen) when DJing. Thats how all of the other DJ gear is anyway, facing up.
Back in the day DJs didn't have their crates right on front of their faces either, did they?
I use ddj t1 because itch is ugly. and i can use more controllers (maschine)

@Ktwonnn Just go to a something cheaper...and test other softwares as well....for example i am get used to traktor and i like it more.... ;)
