If it was a guy with a remarkable feature like a giant mole or distinctive voice that these commenter's hadn't heard much about then that would be what everyone is talking about it's the most noticeable recognizable feature. Regarding "Sexism is getting worse than ever" just no, it's the opposite. Gender equality has never been better. Look 100 years ago women could barely work. You want to see the worst of sexism look at Iran.
