@mj23johnny The new xbox's have built in wireless, and you can connect to the internet but plugging your Xbox into your laptop or desktop. Thats what I did with my old one, so I didnt have to pay $100.

ok one thing but when i turn on my xbox 360 and my wireless adapter is off and when i plug it right back in it only shows red or it stays off and it doesnt seem to connect to the internet so i dont know whats wrong idk if its my xbox 360 or its my wireless adapter bc i was playing mw3 online multiplayer and it just took me off the xbox live which sucks now so i dont really know what to do now..... so hope you can get back to me soon or asap thanks.

@jordan3802 well, i have an elite, but from what i know of slim console you don't need to bridge any connections to your laptop, or an Ethernet cable (unless your wireless signal is bad). You must have a wireless network, then use your consoles wireless abilities to search for any close wireless network connections. Then its just a matter of entering WEP/WAP etc.

@jordan3802 well, if you have a good wireless signal there is no need for that. Like i mentioned in my previous comment, it has built in wireless, so there is no need for an ethernet cable, the laptop to be close to the xbox, but all you need is a good wireless signal, then search for it using your wireless capabilites, connect to it, then enter WAP/WEP etc.
