  • dude being a cheap ass with a high performance motor will cost you in the end dumbass

  • didnt you heard about 98 oktane gas?? save money and buy 98 not 87 cheap idiot!!

  • niko nije čuo za 98 oktana?? kupi brate pa vozi!jebote 87oktana da te jebo

  • America and England/other parts of the world have different rating types. EG: Most countries in Europe, Australia and England use the RON rating, and America uses the AKI rating. They are both slightly different measurements of different characteristics of the fuels burning qualities. 87AKI=91RON, so for example, regular in Australia (91ron) is the same as 87 in the US.

  • Most high perforemance cars use knock detectors so you can run regular if you need to.

  • Doesn't it say 'Premium Fuel Recommended'? You can still run regular then, you just loose maybe 1-2mpg and 5-10hp. Cars are so smart that they pull timing when fuel is lower octane from reading engine noise from the knock sensors. You can usually get midgrade for the same price as regular, that's what I use in my car that recommends premium.

  • nice ricer lights

  • lil pussy ass bitch

  • The lowest i can find in england is Octane 95.. interesting..

  • @uniflare We have 87,89,93. Never seen 95 at a pump, that would be considered racing fuel here.

  • head shack

  • lol ... your fuel map stock is for use with 87-93 octane your car ran fine THIS boys and girls is proof this guy is a boy racer

  • @sharpshot411 correct, knock sensor adjusts timing to the octane you put in. car is probably just a pos

  • @crappyMCcrapperson

Thats true to a certain extent , If timing is advanced you need to run 91 or higher octane but that motor being a vg30de is uses individual coil packs.

  • since when do maximas need 93..

  • Your 185,000 mile Nissan probably needs new injectors o2 sensors, MAFS, IGRV gaskets and a slew of other engine repairs.

it's not 87 octane causing that smoking.

But hey a body kit and clear tail lamps sure do look cool broke down on the side of the road don't they!

  • Oh man. You should`ve bought Shell VPower 99 octane

  • This is why I never loan any of my Turbo cars to friends/family.

  • this is like a 95 maxima... they dont fucking require 93 you dickweed.

  • @ilovegoatsecks You sound like a total shithead that doesnt look around, his dad fucked it up not him.

  • octaine booster

  • wow.. In most countrys in europe a 95 octane is the lowest you can get.. Where the hell do they sell 87??

  • @dipstick3031

95 ROH octane and 80 MOH octane=87 octane.......same octane as US just rated differently

  • @Rodems1 aha....

  • @dipstick3031 u can get 81 in canada but its different then your gas

  • i use 87 in my 01 maxima its runs fine

  • where do you even get 87 octane, the lowest ive ever seen where i live is 89, and i dont touch that lol

  • your dads not to bright then when it comes to cars than ay hurrrrrr

  • wish my car blew smoke rings

  • Here,s another one my DAD on another note / I had just bought 83/ Nissan / It had one Hell of set lights on it and driving lights / factor / i went to night auction with my Dad // his truck got block in / So took my truck across town / we comes back mad as Hell Tells my truck wiring FUCKED UP He couldn't dime the head lights

He said he got cussed out and flipped off all the throw town

He had never drove truck or car with dimer on the column Got LOVE are DADS // / REST IN PEACE DAD

  • I had similar thing happen to me years ago in my ford truck // i was out town and just bought the truck the month before // i left my truck with my DAD // He put in low octane gas // and was hauling my CAR TRAILER // He calls me the next day and says my truck won,t run worth dam / want pull no power / and rattles / I told to use high octane before left // but old school way thinking a waste money so put in as he said the cheap shit / Got to LOVE ARE DADS // MAY HE REST IN PEACE

  • so wut the explination for the ugly tailights was that the deisel u accientially put in the month before 87 octane lol

  • pinking! burn your pistons mate.

  • unless it's a turbo or supercharged or the car maker says you should, why shouldnt you use 87?

  • @falloutforever88 On NA motors, High compression (10:1+) requires higher grades of fuel, usually.

  • my mini cooper s 2005 does the same thing but i think that all the 05 cooper s does it and y alway use 91 octane gas

  • my 1974 (that has 10-1 compression)daully runs on 87 the reason yalls cars runs like shit is because the compression in your engine ignite the gas before the spark plug the you have to do is adjust your timing quit complaning the dont use unless your car(s) are made to run on it

  • why didn't your dumb ass just buy an octane fuel additive to increase the octane number instead of waiting 3 full tanks later?? duuh duh dum duhhahilalalalj farts

  • @smashysmashy If you know of a really good octane-booster I'd much appreciate your telling me about it.

  • @yajmobsiab So many times the oil companies ship lousy gas to their dealers (I live in New York City); if you think your gasoline retailer is getting a truckload of shitty gas in the middle of the night from some fly-by-night, guess again!

The major oil companies do it themselves to cut out the middle-man; they've been caught at it ad nauseum; they're about as big a bunch of thieves as there are on this planet.

  • @SatchmoSings just look on google or go to a pep-boys and ask around. i mean, you have the whole world of information at your fingertips with a computer!

  • @FantasticMRmike Another poster did recommend an excellent octane booster for those times when the oil companies "play (extra) rip-off" however it was quite expensive so I would suppose it would be the one that would work; that poster took down his posting; I don't know why; what he recommended was quite legit.

  • @SatchmoSings makes sense, well best of luck to you!

  • @FantasticMRmike I believe the product he mentioned was called "Torco;" it seems quite expensive but, I would assume it would be the one that would work though I' would ask around first.

I don't know why that poster took down his comment; maybe he didn't want to be unseemly "plugging" something.

  • @smashysmashy because sometimes people dont think numbnuts now shut the fuck up and quit bein a lil whiny bitch on here fag GET LOST!

  • @smashysmashy octane boosters are a sham, most actually lower the knock resistance of 87 fuel.

  • @smashysmashy lol

  • @smashysmashy LMFAO. your comments great loll.

  • @smashysmashy You know how much he would of had to use to bring it from 87 to 93?

  • @smashysmashy

Because that stuff doesn't actually work.

  • @smashysmashy because if you actually look into octane booster it doesnt take 87 -93 or above

  • @smashysmashy fuel additives only raise octane by a couple points. and a point is one TENTH of an octane step. so an $8 bottle of octane booster that promises a three point gain will only raise 87 octane to 87.3 for example

  • @smashysmashy fuel additives are junks....i use xylene mixed with marvel mystery oil instead it will up ur octane by 3+

  • wow 91 is the minimum at the pump in this country then 95/96/98

  • @Konigstiger222 Different countries use different methods of determining octane rating. In the US, we use the (R+M)/2 method. Your county likely uses just the MON and puts that on the label. See Wikipedia's article "Octane Rating" for more information.

  • /watch?v=8VWEwEveGTQ&NR=1 watch this video if u dont believe my comment.

  • What the hell, in Australia the lowest you can buy is 91 and that is regular premium is 95 and super premium is 98 octane. My car cant run on anything lower than 95 says so in the manual. Last time I checked 3d world countries were using 87

  • octane is directly related to compression ratio the gas itself isn't bad its just not meant to be used in this application always use the recommended fuel for your car if it says 87 don't use a higher octane because this can cause damage and it works the other way too hope your car wasn't f'ed up man

  • I use 87 on my 5th gen prelude everyday. No problems at all.

  • @fuckVEVO84 you say that like its a good thing...

  • @fuckVEVO84 Naaa that shit fucks up hondas big time... Fucked over my JDM h22a when i put it in once. Ever since then only premium

  • I have no idea what you people are talking about. Any modern car that requires premium will run 87 perfectly fine. The engine's computer recognizes the quality of the fuel and compensates by making the air/fuel ratio more rich, and that's why you get exhaust burbles, because there is extra fuel still combusting in the exhaust. I can run 87 perfectly fine if need be in my 1.8t GTI, even though my engine tune requires 93.

  • @hphall238 if you don't know then look it up. lol. octane ratings have nothing to do with air fuel ratios directly. I can't believe they sell 85 where I live. Its called detonation and misfire.

  • @macmaniacal no shit? so when the ECU detects detonation and misfiring, it doesn't add fuel? It just lets the motor tear itself apart? I've never seen a car like the one in this video act like that from using 87 octane, including the 1989 Camry my mother originally purchased in 1988 and has been putting 87 in since. No pinging, no detonation, and still runs like a peach after 23 years.

  • @hphall238 ha takes me a month to reply, but what the hell. No, fuel is not added if you were still wondering. its called retardation of the ignition. And you are running ancient vehicles. btw, switch to non ethanol gas i will guarantee you will get better gas mileage. what you were describing would be the case of pre-ignition. The lack of octane is detonation

  • @hphall238 '89 Camry doesn't have a high compression engine. Octane rating has nothing to do with the amount of energy released by the combustion of the air/fuel charge. It only describes the amount of energy required to initiate combustion. High compression engines require a higher octane fuel that takes more energy to ignite so that the charge won't detonate prematurely during the compression stroke.

  • @hphall238 air fuel ratio has nothing to do with octane the octane is the rating of the fuel tendency to detonate and if the cars says 97 then use 97 it has to do with the compression ratio not air fuel

  • i use 89 octane i remember i needed gas badly n HAD to use 87 thats all they had...half a talk of that shit n my car wouldnt wana start up on some days...btw i have a 98 i30t same engine as a maxi 89 octane isnt that bad i do wish i had money for 93 tho

  • fuk i just did that the other day, bummer it gives me low rpm's

  • sounds more like it had water mixed in with gas, that's why i when i fill up i go reputable gas stations when i fill up and use 87

  • bummer for us our cars have 2 fuel maps, limp87

    and norm 91-93...

i use 87 almost regularly because its all i can afford, all i notice is decreased power like u said for like 3 tanks unless i reset my ECU

also use some lucas F.S. cleaner-conditioner

try it makes my 99gxe run like 91 on 87

  • Oh man that sucks. Especially since Maxima's require premium. Did you experience any effects of the 87 octane?

  • It backfired like that for over a month. It took almost 3 full tanks of 93 for the car to behave normal again.

  • @maxecutive

you are so stupid.. its a 3.0l maximi that shit will run 87 just doesnt make as much power... buy a real car for that matter

  • @blazersaurus A Maxima doesn't really require premium; the owner's manual says 91 octane which is precisely between premium and the "plus."

However it has been my own personal experience (here in New York City) that often enough the major oil companies have, on occasion, routinely shipped fuel to their dealers that is below posted octane; they've been caught several times doing this; oil companies are huge thieves.

  • Explain how you accidentally used it.

  • My dad took the car to the gas station and put in 87 by mistake because that's what he uses in his car.

  • @blazersaurus the same way your parents forgot birth control, she was begging to be filled up and apparently he didn't give a shit.
