Can we get something straight? 1st of all "silent" monks don't "sing" anything! They have made their choice. They should watch what they vow. (Ecclesiastes 5:5) OR they need to get out of the business, then. As far as holding up cards, the Alaskan native peoples do a far superior job. Why do they take an oath of silence if they want to fool around and act silly? God would be glorified far more if they'd talk some since, or even sing. This is not only a SILLY oath of silence, it's hippocritical!

Fun times. We enjoyed doing this and are excited at the number of views. We worked at this for quite a while and there was never an intention of singing it. Yes, it was done before us. In fact, another high school director sent me the list of what syllables went on each sign. Yes, it will be done again. We have mailed our costumes to other groups doing it and have enjoyed seeing their videos as well. Merry Christmas!!
